My neighbor has been helping out with the family construction business
the past few days. Finishing out a custom built home they are doing.
Evidently there is an elderly Mexican lady who caters out lunch for the
bunch every day.

Marty 'nd Dave brung me sum.

I ain't seen no genuine corn shuck wrapped Tamales in a coon's age. ;-)

That's about the only reason I can think of for possibly feeling sorry
for the Canadians; their having such bland, colorless, tasteless,
particularly from a culinary standpoint, neighbors south of their
border. ;-)

Getting serious and back to this, last night when Marty had knocked on
the door, I was in the middle of braising up a skillet full of onions,
celery, peppers, ground beef, mushrooms and other stuff to make taco
filling. We had joked and I'd quipped to her, "Damn it you would wait
until I had my own supper ready to come off the stove before you decided
to share your's with me." and she'd said, they go good popped in the MW
and warmed up in the wee hours. ;-)

She's right. They do. It turned out to not be just a Mexican Evening,
but a whole damn Mexican night.

Damn they delicious.

Think I got a pint of Dywer's MAD MAXXXXXXXXXXX Crunchy Stuff, maybe sum
thet pener brinkle clunk whut turn Michel on so, in the freezer To cool
my tung down later. ;-)
