You very well know why Ted. If you go back to Biology 101 class, they
discuss the properties of the cell. One of those properties is
"irritability". If you take a sharp instrument and poke a single-cell
organism, it will squirm. God put "irritability" into single-cell organisms
so that they would be able to avoid life-threatening pressures and other
problems that threaten their survival.
Cells aggregated in groups to form tissues and multi-cellular organisms
where the layers of cells display "irritability" in concert with the other
cells in the tissue.
Similarily tissues aggregated and became more complex organ like creatures
Organ like creatures evolved into more complex creatures with multiple
organs and brains. A cut on a finger will summon white blood cells from far
away from the site of the cut. These cells will literally come running to
the cut from near and afar and begin the repairs. The immune system is
derived from basic nerve tissue in humans, and is a very complicated version
of the original single cell "irritability"
Anger in humans is borne of fear, which is an emotion God gave us to assist
us in our survival. When our survival is threatened, we feel "disturbed",
"irritable" or "angry".
Anger is very normal. Resentment is what is unhealthy. That is when we
replay and repeat our anger repetitously, long after the event that
threatened us or one of our basic instincts has passed.
This is a very destructive state of mind and leads many an alcoholic to find
relief in the drink because they don't have too many other tools to deal
with this rather unpleasant state of mind.

Who sez anger is normal. I finger normal is a state of neutrality or
indifference. Whereas anger is the far right and serenity the far left
or vice versa, depending on your politics.
