Seems like a person could find a better use for they time and life
than wasting it on trying to make other folk as miserable as they is.

Kind of like the kid in the nursery who is hell bent on peeing in
every buddy else's pablum. Breaking toys, trashing the sand box,
shitting on the swing seats, greasing the monkey bars, sawing up the
see-saws, making mayhem and manufacturing misery. A Have Not wanting
what Other's got, but not willing to put forth the effort and take the
simple steps to get it.

Sad, but glad.

Thar but fer the Grace of Gwad, could go I.

Reminds me of how I worked a lot harder at staying drunk than I've ever
had to work at staying sober.

Boy, ain't that the truth, and it'seven harder today with the very low
DUI levels...I've got some buddies that still drink and party like they
were 23, but a lot of them are dead from booze / bad food / nicotine, etc.

They go to great lengths to find a designated driver for their golf
outings, wild game dinners, etc., or locate them within walking distance
to motels...Waaaay too much bullshit.

In all fairness, when I came into the program, I did the same thing
working the steps, but I didn't notice it until a guy said..."You work
harder at not working the steps, than if you just dove in and started
working them."

lol. Yeah... in all honesty, there are still times when I expend more
effort /avoiding/ the next right thing than it would take to just /do/ it.
