She had over a thousand people show up for her signing in Grand Rapids
according ABC News (radio).

There were some who were even there overnight - and let me assure you
the nights here in Michigan are now friggin cold.

I have never stood in line over night, even in good weather, for
anything. Damn sure wouldn't do it for a book...

What the hell, it wasn't like they forged documents trying to
discredit a Presidential candidate less than sixty days before an
election. Say, did Dan Rather apologize for that...?? The stoopid
dirtbag...

If people are stupid enough to camp out in front of Best Buy to get a $9.95

When Palin gave her convention speech, she had to wing it midway because
the teleprompter scrolled by too fast to keep up with. She referred to
this as a teleprompter malfunction, rather than blame whoever was
running the device.

So how did Keith Olbermann report this? He called her a liar, noting
that several people who were there swore up and down the teleprompter
was working. Yes, it was working in the sense it was 'on', but it was
useless to Palin. Olbermann left that part out.

While Fox may have run the wrong clip, the essential fact of the story
was reported accurately -Palin is drawing large crowds. MSNBC, in
contrast, regularly and deliberately omits facts and emphasizes
red-herrings to deceive it's viewers. Pulp fiction, indeed.

Ya forgot to include their ratings (MSNBC)..........DOWN DOWN in the
toilet (along with CNN). Obviously they (MSNBC mostly) target Sarah
Palin (everytime I turn to them its Palin Palin Palin) to try & BOOST
their ratings but its not working, people are tired of the childish
games & the *drooling* sarcasm oozing from Olbermann, Maddow & the rest
of the ilk.

Just dreaming of some checks and balances, not some top heavy piece of
legislation that has nothing to do with reform and seems to favor a
particular state. The rose color comes from hope and the fact that the
democrats can't help but shoot themselves in the foot.

Naturally, those on the right who /are/ enthralled with Palin want to
advance the notion that she is drawing large crowds and keeping the
public debate such that it is, a "he said, she said." That should work
to their advantage in the short term. At some point, the lady will run
out of winks, slogans and claims of mistreatment and have to talk policy.

Subjective interpretation. Having a different analysis after watching
the same race is what makes horse racing. Both Fox and MSNBC
"emphasize," I've yet to notice any deception from MSNBC where Fox seems
to live by it. One mans deception is another's slant. <shrug>

One man's commentator is another mans hate monger. Beck, IMO, is a hate
monger, shit stirrer extraordinaire. I'm embarrassed (and afraid) for
those who take him seriously.

In contrast, Olbermann and his viewers are donating time and money
promoting medical clinics for the uninsured. (you can Google it)

As for teleprompters, sometimes they do malfunction:

The telling factor is, what the speaker does when that happens.

Do they continue on in such a manner the audience doesn't realize it, or
do they stop their remarks until the problem is resolved.

Especially a book by someone who doesn't read that was written by
someone else (Lynn Vincent, an editor at "World," a conservative
Christian magazine) and published by Zondervan publishing house (a

Most LIEbrawls ARE self-absorbed, navel gazing Jeremiahs. They are
constantly wringing their hands and running around like Chicken Little,

elected Prez ...ya'll be able to safely say you're as smart as the
President!
