I'm planning a backpacking trip in RMNP with a mix of people ranging
from two semi-pro athletes to an older retired couple. So the question
is how to accommodate everybody.

My current thought is to pick a campsite about 8 miles in, within reach
of a couple peaks as daytrips. We'd hike in, whoever wants can climb
peaks the next two days, then walk out. What campsite would be a good
choice?
Our trip will be during the week of July 7. No other time works due to
schedule constraints. How bad will the mosquitoes be? Thanks.
