Subject: Inexpensive hiking poles that will fit in a daypack / carry on luggage? (retract to ~25 inches or less)
I have a pair of Swiss Gear hiking poles bought for around USD $20.
They're perfectly fine and have held up for 3+ years of hiking. One
problem: they're too long to fit in a daypack or carry on luggage
(around 26.5 inches fully retracted) and I don't check-in bags when I
travel. They just about fit but not quite.

Can anyone recommend a model of hiking poles that retract to no longer
than 25 inches and costs less $100 per pair max and preferably $50 or
less. For the amount and type of hiking I do (all day hikes), the $20
Swiss Gear poles have been absolutely fine. Just need something
shorter than what I have without paying too many multiples in price of
what I have now. What brands should I be looking at that are shorter
but not prohibitively expensive?
