Good to see you hear. Sometimes I feel like the lone voice shouting in
the wilderness. I still post here even though, as you say, it is kind of
dead.

I've never posted, though I've lurked occasionally for some time now.

Is this kind of thing of interest, perhaps for those who rarely get to hike in Hawai`i, or just junk?

Of course it's of interest. Thanks for posting. Which island is
Olomana on?

Zooming out on the Google Map (last pic), shows it's on Honolulu.

You mean Oahu I'm sure. Thanks, Yo. I didn't think to expand the map.

Sorry, yes. Honolulu isn't an island. I knew that. No, really! I did!

:-)

Well, maybe my geography is a bit rubbish, but being in the UK Hawaiian
geography isn't ever going to be my forté.

It's on O`ahu, near the town of Kailua, on the windward side.

If the Google map came out all right (I just found out it doesn't on some
browsers) you could pin the location by zooming out.

Thanks, Bart. Yes, "Yo" pointed that out. Sort of a "duh" moment for
me.
