First time I have looked at this one in 6 months. It used to be more
active but was never great. Mostly people that wanted something other
than Groundspeaks take on the subject.

We are TheHobos and I for one don't like the way geocaching is going.
Been at it for 10 years and love to do it. BUT it sure has gone down
hill over the years. Money does tend to ruin some things and when that
is the prime directive it takes it's toll.

We have too many GPSR's so I won't list them, but we don't use a cell
phone. Find some GPSR's are great for navigation and others are great
for end game. So we have about 3 or 4 going when we are out caching.
We have done a few power trails and they were fun but get boring after a
while (they can be a lot of fun with a group of people doing it
together). This last year we have been having fun and a challange
filling in our "statics" calendar and T/D grid.

Done a few challenges, they are nothing but re-instated virtuals. Not
going to spend much time on them.

Just starting, have an Explorist GC, and just sent back for
replacement for a 610 (Complicated but neat) which quit working in a
day. Just used the GC for a few morning walks to familiarize myself
with the workings. Have had various GPS's over the years, the oldest
Garmin GPS 45 I used to use on my boat. The screen is goofed up, but
I use it to set up my telescope which reads the Lat-Long location, so
I still get some use from it.
