Are you saying you are using WebTV and GC.com does not support that?
If so, I doubt that you will get much of a response from them. They
aren't very good at responding to any requests, so asking them about
something that they don't support has a very low chance of a reply.

The money you pay doesn't buy you a lot. But then it isn't a lot of
money. I've never contributed just because they are so
unresponsive.

I'm sure that GC.com thinks they are the force behind geocaching. But
if they didn't exist, I am sure that a web site and support group
would have been developed on an open source model. In fact, I would
say that their presence is holding back the growth of a community
developed geocaching effort. Most people won't bother to support open
efforts when there is a sufficiently painless commercial one.

If you are not on WebTV, can you tell us more about your setup and how
you access the site?

Here in Germany they developed a second platform at www.opencaching.de.
Unfortunately everyone was registered at gc.com so far, and most of them
do not like to log on two platforms, so nearly all oc-Caches are also
listed at gc.

The platform is quite good, and of course there is no "premium"
membership. Everyone can download gpx-files without having to wait for
the server having time to send it as an email ;)
