This past Saturday, the Diabolical himself Biz markie, 
the Roots, O.C. , and Group Home performed at UofD. 
The headliners were supposed to be Pete Rock & C.L.  
Smooth but some odd reason they didn't show up.
Even now I don't why, PR & CL aren't that type from
what I know.
But ANYWAY, what was eventful was ... the Roots. Those
kids were simply flowing for forever and a day. While 
waiting for PR & CL they shot the isht around freestyle
like behind the curtain. Smooth no doubt, straight no
chaser. Then as the new closing act they rehashed a
bunch of rap classics totally spontaneous like (
it's amazing what you can do w/o a DJ). Even Biz, picked
up the mic and tried to keep up with the flow. But this was 
after he got (in my section of the audiences opinion) knocked
outta the box by some kid who battled him earlier in the show.

Wondering why I left out O.C. and Group Home? Wasn't a fan
befo' and I'm not now. After Biz got beat, O decided to stop 
the show drop some thought about 'brothers should support each
other ... [and] Biz been in the business ...[for however long]"
Whadevah, freestyle is a part o' rap ... live with it.

Anyway, the post is getting to long. I just read 'em
