But, in a situation much like Oliver "notes on the run" Wang and the new
De La, I dropped by a local Tower today to pick up _Buhloone_, and while
contemplating purchasing the second Led Zep box set, I just happened to
see twenty or so copies of _93 'til Infinity_ sitting innocently in the
Pop/Rock section.
I'll leave a review to various other capable hands...
For those of you near the South Bay who are interested, it's the Tower
on Bascom Avenue in Campbell, CA.

BTW, is it just me or have Mase and Trugoy had one too many donuts?

NAW MAN!!! Damn I'm curious! That sounds, well, really weird. Twenty
copies of the Souls for one thing, but your in Cali. I think I'm gonna
give a couple record stores some calls tomorrow to get some information.
Last thing I heard was it was supposed to drop this Tuesday but maybe it
changed. Question: Is the song "Make Your Mind Up" on the album.

Excuse my ignorance but, who's album is this??

What about Dr. Dre? I saw the videos for "Express Yourself" and "G Thang"
back to back a while ago and it looks to me like Dre has takin' the term livin'
phat a little to literally.

My fault... with all the buzz in alt.rap previously, I figured
everyone was their #1 fan.
Souls of Mischief, a foursome that's part of the Oakland-based
Hieroglyphics (think of Del tha Funkee' Homosapien).

Yeah, Dr. Dre looks like he's getting all his vitamins alright. Can you
imagine Snoop in a couple of years, rapping with a big old pot belly?
Well, it seems to me that this malady has afflicted many artists, with
the most noticeable weight gain generally occuring between the first
and second released albums.
I can think of (right off the top of my head) Grand Puba, Ice Cube,
KRS-1, Erick Sermon, MC Serch, Intelligent Hoodlum (I saw "Grand Groove"
the other day, and perhaps he may have just lifted a helluva lot of
weights since I last saw him in what I believe was his first video...
the name escapes me, but it was a couple years back and before "Arrest
the President").
Now I'm not saying that all of the above are extremely corpulent, but
they all did seem to gain a sizeable chunk of weight.
Most of us have heard of the "Freshman 15," but does anyone have a
suggested name for this syndrome?
To (mis) quote KRS-1, "now there's steak with the beans and rice"...

Sorry for the re-post of your entire article but this computer

Don't forget Fu-Schnickens, especially Moc Fu. They look like they've been
on Shawn Bradley's diet plan.

Judging from these weight gains, I'd just call it a 40...

Damn... I forgot them. Yeah, Moc Fu looks like he's been eating
too much Chinese food... didn't he hear the reports that Chinese food
(at least as prepared in U.S.) is incredibly greasy and fatty? They
singled out Kung Pao Chicken as being one of the worst dishes for you.
Actually, I always thought he looked like he had indigestion on the
cover of the "Can we rock?" CD single... that or he had just stuffed
a mouthful of Chinese food in his mouth right before they snapped
the picture.
Meanwhile, DJ Daddy Rich looks like he's a pretty healthy eater...

Hoodie suggested "first album" 15... or perhaps "first album" 40...
