Rule G Exception?

It seems at least one of CSX's managers forgot Rule G applies to
trainmasters as well as rank and file.

At a recent mainline derailment (minor) a trainmaster showed up
smelling like a brewery. The crew who witnessed the violation and
confirmed what was being "rumored" about stated they had not reported
the incident due to fear of retribution.

This alleged Rule G violation occured on the Florence Div.

Another rumor floating about says division manager Wolfe had his son
moved straight from conductors school right to a yardmaster's
position.

Other applicants have been told emphatically you must have a minimum
of one year's experience as a conductor before being considered a
viable candidate for yardmaster.

I wonder if Michae...@csx.com or Tony_...@csx.com have heard of
these double standards regarding advancement and rule G violation(s).

The CSX ethics hotline is getting hot...hot...hot!

As of this date the FRA certified former Road Foreman of Engines has
NOT been de-certified. My sources tell me NO action has been taken in
accordance with any laws, rules or regulations.

It appears the entire matter is being swept under the rug.
