Mother Laura's hate of blogs [certain blogs] is well known. Blogs
[certain blogs] are the bane of her "boss" at the Santa Barbara News-
Press, co-publishers Wendy P. McCaw and Arthur von "Nipper"
Wiesenberger.

In a recent correspondence the SB News-Press management wrote:

"Santa Barbara News-Press is comfortable with the fact that
employees will not have full access to the internet. Being the party
that is responsible for content, we can accept the possibility that
something might be missed by restricting access to the internet. As we
stated at the table, Santa Barbara News-Press does not value very
highly the use of blogs."

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korean leader Kim Jong Il called
himself an ”Internet expert” during summit talks with South Korea’s
president this week, a news report said Friday.

”I’m an Internet expert too. It’s all right to wire the industrial
zone only, but there are many problems if other regions of the North
are wired,” Kim told Roh, according to Yonhap.

How similar...

In previous SB News-Press A2 columns, Schlessinger has also mimicked
the likes of Kim Jung Il.
More recent she is supporting Made in Communist China products.
