excellent remake of "The Omen"!

The Dark Arts invade "Satan's Rockin' 666 Eve"
"Satan's Rockin' 666 Eve" celebrates not only the
carnal, but the cerebral side of the dark with
performance art, readings, video screenings, book
signings and a gallery of black velvet paintings and
serial killer art.
Sure "Satan's Rockin' 666 Eve" is full of metal and
dead girls, and porn and punk, but it has something
else that sets it apart from other events celebrating
the Satan Sin-tennial, and that is the REAL DEAL when
it comes to the dark arts.
Making a rare and no doubt unforgettable public
appearance Rev. Steven Johnson Leyba will be reading
from his upcoming memoir "The Last American Painter;
My Life as ART, as SEX, as RELIGION, as WAR". Leyba in
an internationally renown painter, writer and
performer, and is the subject of a documentary called
'Unspeakable. His band the 'United Satanic Apache
Front' has performed to international and diverse
audiences since the mid-1990s. He is an Apache Indian
and and ordained priest in the Church of Satan.
Jack Malebranche will be displaying a number of his
incredible black velvet paintings, including some from
his series of "Velvet Killers" made exclusively for
Shane Bugbee's "True Crime Warped Minds" tour and
featuring various serial killers, mass murderers, and
a sprinkling of cult leaders. Why Black Velvet?
"Velvet painting is essentially a romantic medium",
Malebranche says. "Unlike traditional oil painting,
velvet painting demands chiaroscuro; it is more than a
selected effect. Black is the base, the under-layer of
every black velvet painting."
Also at the event, Shane Bugbee will be displaying
additional gems from his vast collection of Serial
Killer art and artifacts. There will be a brief video
display, and Shane Bugbee will take part in an
informal talk about serial killers. This will be the
only West Coast stop on his 'True Crime Warped Minds'
tour, he is also unveiling his new book also titled
'True Crime Warped Minds', featuring articles,
interviews, and letters from the killers themselves.
"Hellraiser Homemaker" will be in the house, unveiling
the first volume of this hair-raising new women's
publication, and on hand will be four of it's
contributors including founder Amy Bugbee, Static Beth
(staticbeth.com), Sara Rung (femalediction.com), and
coming all the way from Germany Irina Legion. They
will be signing books and aprons and talking
hellraising and homemaking amid the Ghoulish Burlesque
Girls, the female Doms and Submissives, the suspension
artists, the bands and the ladies of the adult
industry,
Even the new movie "The Omen" is participating in
"Satan's Rockin' 666 Eve", this event is officially
endorsed by the film, and spokespeople will be on hand
with gobs of posters, t-shirts, movie passes, and to
screen the film's trailer.
