Schlessinger... The gender wars go on . . . and
on . . .: In response to my column
suggesting the instant improvement in marriage with my "15 minutes of
sexual/sensual/affectionate play" each morning, I've gotten some
thumbs up from folks around town -- and -- these (edited for space)
letters.

>From Bill F.: "I have three male friends who had corresponded with
women over the Internet and all got married. One woman was in
England, another was in Russia, and one was in the Phillipines. All
three got married. All my friends had given up on relationships with
American women."

And on the American woman side, this from Donna H.: "The question as
presented in your column a week ago, do we get up at 5 o'clock in the
morning to have sex, so that we would have somebody sitting on the
couch on Sunday watching the Super Bowl? Where women have options, in
Europe (especially Norway and Sweden), U.S. and South America, they
are opting to go it alone -- just them and the children."

Most likely, American women had given up on Bill F's friends. They
couldn't get a date
so they found women who need green cards.
