her sailing, her cycle rides, her speaking engagements, blah blah and
her son! I listen to her 1st hour bs - very telling. If she is in a
rotten mood, she goes light on the braggadocio - actually, the only
time she is in a good mood is when she has some "cute" story about
herself to relate. Last week it seems it was repeat programs, with
alittle up to the minute info (they finally figured out how to include
current stuff in with the old). I thought since her boy was getting
out that she would be on vacation (hence the old shows), and speak
about her boy and blah blah on the radio.
My question is: When the troops complete their tour (sorry, I forget
the correct wording), do they still have another year at their base in
the US, or are they finished? Also, she doesn't say proud
mother .......... Or do you think maybe he was found guilty of the
myspace stuff and got a dishonorable discharge?

That is interesting. I hope you post more on her radio chatter. I try
to read her Santa Barbara News-Press column. It has been as if a ghost
is writing it. Actually, it's alot of quoting someone else and maybe
one sentence that she or staff writes. It appears something is wrong.
1. Her TV segment on Hannity's America was one moment a big deal, next
silence. What happened?
2. Another News-Press columnist, Bob Kieding, wrote "Now go sail the
right thing" 5/7/08, an odd boost for Laura's ego.

3. Mothers Day 5/11/08, "M is for Mommy, which stands for love". She
wrote a little at the beginning and end. 3/4 were "letters", the same
form-letter-type, praise Laura, support her politics or "moral"
opinions. NO mention of the son she has used to promote her projects
and that she was once eager to say how proud. Her intro was about how
fortunate that she recovered from the ailment of 60s feminist in time
to be a wife and mother. Something about since her "rehab". NO 60s
feminist would use sex to get a job or get ahead at work.
4. I thought her Memorial wk end was strange. Homeschooling promo,
marriage (her books) and Planned Parenthood. All 3 topics she goes
over and over like a broken record. "Rachel" no-last-name wrote a very
brief "appreciation of the troops" which only promoted a website where
you can send appreciation to troops. No mention of the soldiers who
won't return to be appreciated.
5. In the past, when on "vacations" or promotions she announces it.

When something is up, then she's silent and more confusing.
Most of the troops that Deryk was with in Afghanistan returned to the
States by April 2008. She hasn't said he's here? I can't say for
certain, but Deryk may have returned earlier then February. If the
photos I saw were him, he did celebrate and he has tattoos.
Deryk has been a secret since his break down last May. He stayed in
Afghanistan, I heard he didn't return to combat but he was allowed to

There have been many rumors. He could be in some kind of "rehab".
According to college talk he's always had personality and addictive
issues. The Pentagon is as interested in his PR looking good as
Laura's "family values" hype, so no one tells the truth, if they talk
at all.
She didn't drop the "I'm the proud" and "Hooah" during most of his
investigation last year. It would be revealing if she's done that
now.

They have another year or 15 months in the US. As long as Deryk's
been in, he's had one tour. It's different for other soldiers.

He wasn't found guilty of the myspace stuff. And no dishonorable from
the myspace or the photos.
Remember, by May 21, 2007 Wonkette reported the Pentagon destroyed all
evidence [at the same time they accused "our enemies"]
