Well done to the Weekend Rush and Kool FM crews for their celebrity appearance
on TV this weekend. Still on-air and safe behind the three tons of concrete !
Just to put things straight, here's an official message from them...
" You may have read in the press or seen on TV reports and allegations
regarding Weekend Rush 92.3FM and Kool FM 94.5. They have said 'it is
a drug-run organisation, we are making stupid amounts of money, we have
deliberately tried to hurt and injure council workers'. We at Weekend
Rush and Kool FM are not in any way linked to drugs and organised crime.
We admit to protecting our transmitters but they are no danger at all to
anyone. Money made from ads barely covers our running costs, most impor-
tantly we are here for you and the music - nothing else. But we know you
know that anyway.
