1. THE CURRENT:

The cost of Canada's ongoing military commitment in Afghanistan this
morning on The Current. They'll compare it with Germany's decision to
limit its own military involvement. Also, a profile of a Montreal man
who once worked the streets as a gay prostitute...who then turned his
life around when he became a Catholic priest, and who's now poised to
represent the riding of Repentigny as the newest member of the Bloc

5. IDEAS:

"Hafiz and Bob" tonight on Ideas. Poetry is the greatest art form of
Persia and Iran, and Hafiz is considered the true master of poetry.
Film-maker, writer and broadcaster Bob Chelmick searches for Hafiz, the
14th century Persian poet and mystic still revered in Iran and adored

6. THE ARTS TONIGHT:

Celebrating Norman McLaren this evening on The Arts Tonight: a new DVD
collection honours the work of the brilliant Canadian animator. Host
