British soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae was a surprise, overnight
success when her debut album entered UK charts at #1 in 2006. But her
meteoric rise was sidetracked by tragedy when her husband and musical
collaborator Jason Rae died of an overdose in early 2008. After nearly
two years out of the public eye, Corinne Bailey Rae is in Studio Q for
an interview about returning to music, and to perform two new songs

novels in contention is Douglas Coupland's Generation X: Tales For an

phenomenon when it came out in 1991, Generation X changed the way
people viewed an entire generation, and coined the terms "McJob" and
"poverty jet set."

5. CANADA LIVE:
Truly an all-star jazz lineup, tonight on Canada Live. The Mike Murley
Trio features Mike Murley, now established as one of the best tenor
sax players in Canada, the great bassist Steve Wallace, and the rising
star Reg Schwager on guitar. For this concert, they invited special
guest Guido Basso to play a personal and up-close show. This was one
of the hottest concerts of the 2009 Atlantic Jazz Festival!
