You know, someone could make money by making big metal signs you can
put on ANY car saying, "gasoline- free hybrid" ! People would buy
those for status and to feel good- even if the car isn't a hybrid."
(note: the above idiot thinks that the hybrids available today are
gasoline-free. I believe this idiot wrote the book, "Arguing with
Idiots", which makes me wonder if he's always arguing with himself !)

In fact; look up ELECTRIC CAR and see all the models available for
sale today. Then realize that any of those cars which can be charged
up in 8 hours by plugging them into house current (the cars' built-in
charger uses 1200 watts of a.c. power, converted to d.c.)- can also
be
charged up in 8 hours of sunlight by 1200 watts of d.c. power from
solar panels-which today takes up about 10 square meters of solar
collection area. Takes about 14 hours of cloudy bright sunlight.)

If your kids hear crap like this on the radio, I pray for them! If
they hear this from their friends who hear this crap on the radio, I
pray for those kids too !
ALL radio talk show hosts have a "good-ole-boy" relationship with
eachother.Don't step on my toes and I won't step on yours! Don't
expose my lies and I won't expose yours! The lying talk show host to
the truthful one: "Since we have the same
sponsor and I sell more products than you- don't mention my talk show
idiocy and lies over the air, or we'll see whose show the sponsor
drops !!" For those talk show hosts who strive to be accurate and
don't
expose the lies of their fellow hosts- it's because their sponsors
would have them off the air! It's as simple as that !
Since the radio talk show industry won't monitor and discipline
itself,
in my opinion the whole industry OWNS all the garbage it puts out on
OUR airwaves.
Violating the public interest by lying on the radio does not need a
rebuttal under a Fairness Doctrine; lying over the public airwaves is
corrected and ended with a big fine ($$$$) and epidemic violators
need
a JAIL TERM to think it over !!
If you think that your vote is cancelled by a mis-informed voter and
that kids should not be exposed to lying filth on the radio- contact
your congressman or the FCC (i...@fcc.gov)
If you hear what you believe is a medical lie (or ANY lie) on the
radio, you can file an FCC complaint form 2000E. The FCC appears to
investigate only when more than one person sends them documentation.
