As an ex-tobaco smoker I can say that 90% of the time I still wanted
to smoke but didn't want the side effects.

I tried Champix and Zyban - both unsucessfully.

The electronic cigarette http://www.vipelectroniccigarette.co.uk is
officially not sold as smoking cessation aid.

The fact the cigarette contains nicotine and provides all the actions
of regular cigarette seems to me though a substitute.

The electronic cigarette does not generate first hand or second hand
smoke.

Legal to smoke anywhere in the UK.

Smoking ban exempt - Smoke it bars, pubs, clubs and cafes.

The e-cigarette has to be one of the best inventions of the century.
