Hi Mastic, I am in the I know I have to quit stage, about a month ago I got
a list of low nic/tar/co cigs and started smoking Carltons with a David Ross
holder with filter thingy that fits inside......the site says it would
filter out 50% nic and 60% tar. I also did some research on E-cigs and
found one [Green Smoke] that carries different percents of nic, I opted for
the .6 and zero nic. I am currently smoking the zero nic and not going any
withdrawals I can notice, I am still smoking 5/8 real cigs a day.....down
from 40 per day.
I am scheduled for sugery Monday to clean out a blocked artery....not a main
one but branch that feeds blood to the left arm. I went for 9 hours today
without a real cig and caved after lunch, were I work we go outside for
smoke breaks and it's just hard. I will be at MOM's for recovery next week
so hope to quit real cigs and move on to the zero nic e-cigs and then
finally stop for good. As to how I will deal with going back to
work.....maybe try taking a sucker out with me to have something to do.
Anyway congrats on being smoke free for 32 days!
BTW there is another group alt.support.stop-smoking I just added it but have
not checked yet.
Take care!
Donna
