Im Rory.Im 19 years old and i just started smoking a few months ago but i already feel it in my lungs. I haven't quit yet,but im looking for ideas on how. I've tried cold turkey and soon as stress came around i couldnt keep my will power up. So i joined this group. Its the first time I've done this so I'm hoping to meet people that could help me with my situation. So good day to you.
Rory

Nicotine has become your antidepressant of choice. That's unfortunate. The nicotine helps bring up the brain neurotransmitter dopamine, and you've discovered that it is needed. And just deciding to quit will not modify that deficiency. Your brain is demanding that an important part of its functioning is in short supply. Do you also start your day with caffeine?
