I was at the library with the kids trying to borrow some classic movies (that
are never in the video store "but we can order it for you") an I came across the
"The Call of Cthulhu" silent movie that was made recently.

http://www.cthulhulives.org/cocmovie/

Obviously a work of love, but still I was impressed with the quality and at 47
minutes it's probably a better use of my time than watching nearly anything else
on TV.

Spoiler

Maybe stop motion wasn't the way to go for the "monster". I always though that
any monster that would make you go insane just looking at, should never actually
be seen on screen (unless it could make the audience go insane of course ;-).

Less than $15 at Amazon--worth looking into!

I was really impressed by the quality of the CoC movie. They also have 4
"Radio Adventures" now, and it looks like they might be doing another movie.
I really need to order the radio plays, last I checked they only had one,
with a second one in the works.
