Again, the look on my fellow student's face was one that meant he
thinks he was feeling disturbed because he thinks that there was
something disturbing about me. Why is such a small thing so telling?
Or was this not so small? I have been wondering about this off and on
for over a year. Thanks in advance.
Everyone in the class was assigned to read a paragraph from the book,
and you decided that you were special and deserved to be exempted
because you said you were 'tired.' Assuming you really weren't being
lazy, your 'tiredness' must have meant you were suffering from a
physical ailment, and you should have excused yourself to visit the
campus health clinic.

One thing that really irritates me about fans of psychology is their
belief that they can read other people's minds. Rather than trying to
read this particular student's mind to figure out why he seemed so
'disturbed' about your selfish behavior, you should try reading your
own mind to see why you think you deserve special treatment that the
other students aren't entitled to.
I don't feel any self-entitlements or think that I'm exempt, I just
can't exert the physical or mental energy that everyone else can
because I have no will-power. Like today I was supposed to take a 28-
minute subway ride to go see my cousin who flew in from California,
but I got sleepy about 40 minutes before I was supposed to meet her
(she told me to come late morning or early in the afternoon) [that
means that my eyes were burning and there was blood loss in my brain
and thus I was in discomfort and in pain a little bit] and so I went
to sleep instead. I was supposed to meet her at 4 o'clock in the
afternoon yesterday and she called me at my house twenty-something
minutes before I was supposed to be there and she was able to gather
from my voice she woke me up, so we made plans for today instead.
I pay my utility bills by writing out checks from a joint checking
account that is ALL my aunt's money and today she told me to send out
the checks because they're due tomorrow and I foreknow that I will be
too lazy, funloving and too much of a girlie man to. Four and a half
years ago, approximately, I volunteered to be the one who writes out
the checks for my bills because I upgraded my cable boxes and so there
were all these movie channels that I could have, but my aunt would
only give me permission to get three movie channels, so behind her
back I ordered more and so I volunteered to be the one who writes the
checks for my utility bills so she wouldn't see that I had a really
high cable bill. I bought a money order to pay the new amounts I kept
acruing (sp) due to constantly adding new channels. That was the
biggest mistake I made in my life approximately because I discovered
Netflix and Blockbuster online in March
2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But the point I'm trying to make is that I don't think that I'm anyone
special, I just can't muster up mental fortitude. Sixty-one days ago,
I tried to prove to a judge in a courtroom that I'm mentally disabled,
and one of the perks of me proving that to him is that I will be quite
possibly rewarded to the tune of 10 to 15 thousand bucks and he said
that he'd make his decision known in sixty days (which is procedure)
and my lawyer's office is down the hallway from his and I was too lazy
to call my aunt to tell her to call the lawyer to ask him how he
ruled. She is going away tomorrow and so today and yesterday was my
only chance. By the time she gets back, I might get apprised of his
verdict by mail.
The opposing lawyer put me on the witness stand and told me to read a
paragraph and to then interpret for him what it means. I was too lazy
to read the paragraph and too funloving to concentrate enough to
understand it because I found it boring, so he kept on making me re-
read it. My answer to him was, "I'm not good at paperwork" which is
more proof to the judge that I am a mentally disabled man. My
disability is laziness, funlovingness and being a punk who can't
muster up the mental fortitude to exert myself in any way shape of
form. I haven't had a job since I was 29 and I'm 44 and I was only
able to keep the job for a little over two months because of the above
reasons. The owner said to me, in regards to me tuning him out every
time he told me a lie to tell people he didn't want to talk to about
him being in the wine room and there being no phone down there, and I
quote, "Never mind! It's too complicated! You'll never make it!" while
he snatched the message I took outa my hand.
Maybe this man was thinking that I think I'm not obliged to do what
every other person in the class is, but I had asked the teacher for
permission to not read out loud? His expression meant that I should be
offended though. He was thinking that there is something or some
things that are highly abnormal about me. Then, he noticed that I
noticed him and that I was able to gather that he thinks that I am
problemed and so he turned his head away.
You want to use psychology to define yourself as "mentally hygienic,"
while anyone with a differing opinion must be suffering from some sort
of "mental disorder." Psychologists are no different from
religionists who define themselves as "holy and righteous" while
others are "sinners and heretics."
