Paul Ross, as a paralegal, you read two Anthony Robbins books and two
books about Milton Erickison. And then you came up with up with
“breakthroughs” in hypnotism?
Nobody, absolutely nobody, among the greatest hypnotherapists in the world
has been able to do anything with hypnotism, even remotely close to what
Erickson was able to. He was a one-of-a-kind, gifted, empathetic,
sensitive, caring therapist.
But you, by reading books can do what men who have dedicated their lives
to hypnosis can’t? Come on!
THE FACTS: It isn’t just me who calls you a fraud, you’ve been exposed as
a phony by every magazine, newspaper, radio and TV show you’ve ever been
in or on. Here’s what your own disciple says about your recent appearance
on TV.

This isn't my fight, BUT....
A little over a year ago I met the girl of my dreams, BUT....
I managed to do just about everything wrong. I've had a lot of sexual
experience, but this was different. I fell for this one really hard, but
I couldn't get past her walls.
I had known of Ross Jeffries for some time before I came across his
Speed Seduction site quite accidently at http://www.seduction.com. This
happened right around the time I was having problems with the light of
my life.
I started using Jeffries' materials, without much grace, albeit with
phenomenal success. My results were close to those of a controlled
study. When I used the Speed Seduction methods, I got results; when I
didn't, my results were random and usually ineffectual.
When things were on-again/off-again with my love interest, I dated other
women. I can relate chapter and verse where Speed Seduction got me
results against some pretty tough odds. One of the reasons I became
interested in NLP is the structure and repeatability which I did not
find in other materials, such as yours.
I'm sure you wrote a nice book. But quite frankly, Ross Jeffries gives
away more information on his website for free than most people charge
for.
BTW, if I understand correctly, Ross has issued a pretty straight
forward challenge. Instead of the electronic chest beating, why not
simply accept and let the results speak for themselves?

Thanks for the support. I've taken my flame war with this idiot to
private email and I will NOT respond to him anywhere publically anymore,
least of all here in alt.psych.nlp.
I can only hope the folks here rip him a new one for his incredible
ignorance about Erickson be unduplicatable.

It *was* exactly the wrong thing to say on this newsgroup. I doubt that
Mr. Steele has made any friends among folks who know anything about
NLP.
