SEATTLE -- Usenet group alt.prophecies.nostradamus (APN) suffered a major
stroke over the holidays and is reportedly in a catatonic vegetative state,
undergoing intensive care.
Medical personnel said the prognosis for full recovery is "guarded" and
refused to speculate on the critically ailing group's future health.
One emergency medical technician said APN was admitted to the ER during the
Christmas holiday, complaining it was having severe trouble breathing.
"It went into cardiac arrest. We pumped its chest around 3 a.m. and then
administered electro-shock minutes later, and got a faint heartbeat," the
unnamed worker said.

More on this breaking news as it becomes available.

Nice post, Doc.

Vesuvius has been smouldering in England for some weeks now, ( it's
moved) and the magna is at critical point. The burning lava is trying
to force it's way out, covering apn and all passing 'zodiacal' fools
with deadly burning ash; leaving them mummified in foetal positions
for some future generation to find.

I'm trying to 'cap' it right now. Sometimes, good people as well as
bad become trapped in the clouds of ash. That wouldn't be right.

I was wondering where you've been, Ricky!! Is the cold and snow
hitting you hard? Heard England is really getting it bad in terms of
snow and cold this month ...

Even the extreme cold, and the snow have little effect on the molten
magna, Woodsy.

Yes, the weather is bad..well, awful really. I hate it..but then, over
this 'happy' season, I usually hate everything in the Universe!

Capping the volcano, Woodsy..been watching...but being as careful as
possible not to let the clouds of hot ash errupt!

You're being too kind, Wolfy. Really.

;-)

Glad you are doing ok. I don't like the cold either, but as long as
it's above 0F, I can't really complain. Well, I can, but nobody will
listen to it ... :-D

Nice post, Doc.

There IS something odd in the atmosphere since the holidays. I can't quite
identify the source of it, but part of the offensive odor has been contained
in soc.mottleyss.
Look at what the imp's passing gas over right now --

Now stop it, Lee. You've gone and made me all
squirmy like when I can't find all the words in one
of those WordFinder puzzle books. I think I know
what "b*tt" and "f*ck*ng" mean, but "tr**s"?
Trees? Traps? Trips?

Please give a pal a fuckin* break and tell me!

Gee, golly wolly, he's back to tea time with the ol' biddies again.
I heard that the UK had a horrid snowstorm and wondered if it had affected
you, but from your replies to Woods, apparently not.
Steven may have rejoined the army to push back the Muslim Menace emanating
from that global threat, Yemen. I don't know.
I think Dani's busy showing off her hard-fought-for mail ordered ugg boots

They seem to be in short supply these days. But, there's still hope for a
full recovery.
