Thanks to Mario Gregorio's website, it is now possible to view
one of the most controversial of Nostradamus' Almanachs which
have survived the passage of time.
*
Controversial, because most bibliographers have been of the view
that this Almanach is a forgery. Why? Because it contains a lots
of 'ridiculous' quatrains ; and because it is the second Almanach
allegedly published by Nostradamus for the very same year, 1563,
something which a logical mind tends to view as... nonsense.
*
So, with this in mind, I have examined this 62-page booklet, to
see if it would not contain any clue as to its authorship. If it
truly was by Nostradamus, it ought to contain the same features
also included in others of his Almanachs
*
Actually, it does! But not very credible ones: Its frontpage
contains a quatrain already published four times by Nostradamus
in his Prophecies, but with slight differences. Its twelve
quatrains dedicated to each month of the year are mostly a re-
hash of quatrains already published in other Almanachs and
Prognostications by Nostradamus.
*
A re-hash, because many of their lines have been moved from one
quatrain to the other but not in the same order, so as to make
what appears to be an entirely 'new' quatrain, but made up of
pieces borrowed from one or two others.
*
So, these 'new' quatrains are not entirely a transfer of pieces
from older quatrains, but have been re-worked to fit the 'new'
ones.
*
Which means that Nostradamus used pieces of quatrains from his
former Almanachs to produce other enciphered poems hiding the
very same prophecy about the unintended destruction of Paris.
*
How do I know?
*
Because I have deciphered the frontpage of this 'new' Almanach,
together with one complete page of it using a special typeface,
and the worst built quatrain, that for June, in this Almanach.
*
What do these deciphered texts all have in common?
*
They all speak of the circumstances of the unintended destruction
of Paris... just as everything else Nostradamus published.
*
Therefore, this 'new' Almanach is not bogus, it truly was
authored by Nostradamus. And a copy of it can be found on Mario
Gregorio's website.
*
Have a nice day, folks!
