Videl says the 10th, not the 11th -- and he was using the Julian
calendar with the tropical zodiac, as you would see for yourself if
you actually bothered to look at the 1566 Almanach (which is available
from Gary Somai).
In two separate tables this gives the moon in Scorpio at the time, but
it is quite clear that Nostradamus, in his commentary, simply mistook
the squiggle for Scorpio for the squiggle for Aquarius, which appears
7 lines below, opposite the 17th.

29 Aquarius 49 Minutes Moon. Sun at 1 Minuet and 22 seconds Pisces
This is 33 seconds of arc. Used Julian date and NASA Ephemerides, and
Paris France as Local and LMT of 11:59 PM the 10th of February 1556.
At Midnight till 1:13 in the morning the New Moon passes directly over
the Sun.. Before any one wakes up for work in the morning the New Moon
has come and gone.. Videl's attacks are unfounded. The tables back then
weren't universal. In all fairness the New Moon falls on the night
before the next morning of the 11th.. What Videl was searching for was
remotely anything to use to discredit Nostradamus as a astrologer
because he admitted to Nostradamus that allot of his prognostications
were right on, and this showed his contempt in this vicious work...
This is a New Moon! And is Correct.. Videl was Mentally ill, and
thought he was Moses!
Nostradamus was right! Videl was trying to point out that two signs
cannot be for a New Moon~! Their is no signs! Man made them Up!

1. Videl calls his insults in that a presages for January 1557. Theirs
is a full Moon at 7 degrees and 46 minutes Leo. Nostradamus literally
worded it 37 Degrees Cancer. All Zodiacal signs have only 30 degrees. It
was apparent that Videl didn't understand this [Videl being a
astrologer?] So he attacks Nostradamus with insults. He says you cannot
have a full Moon if the signs are Aquarius and Cancer.
2. Propagandism use this attack to further make a picture that
Nostradamus was a unintelligent person. The information was
mathematically correct for the Presage for the 1557 Full Moon. Videl
goes on to attack Nostradamus claiming he cannot do math.
3. So this letter of stupidity is used to deceive the majority of the
public, to be used as a smear campaign against Nostradamus.
4. Videl goes on to call Nostradamus the Anti-Christ of the Biblical
sense. The one who would show up at the end of the World. Rev.
5. January 1555. Nostradamus predicts " That many would be seduced the
people by forging prophecies." This has been proven by the highest
scholars in history. This sure came about a little after Nostradamus's
departure from earth. The religious wars broke out all over Europe.
Almanacs including Videl and Fabri , were infused with propaganda money
from the Church, and government organizations, and King influencials. So
clearly we see Videl guilt involvement of the Church financially backed.
In this attack against Nostradamus his envy of Nostradamus is clearly
seen because Nostradamus allegiance was toward God first and not the
money controlled Church..[ Nostradamus never receive financial backing
from the church as Videl was connected. Videl was the deceiver in this
case..
In the 1700 the Almanacs changed to what we know them today as world
facts sheets... Before the year 1700, the major portion of the Almanac
was dedicated to the Prognosticators....
6. So Videl attacks Nostradamus calling him the Anti-Christ again...
7. Videl goes on to attack Nostradamus as summing up the Devil. So of
coerce the church who financially backed Videl and Fabri. Used their
Propaganda to turn the Nostradamus words around and to pass false
judgment. Nostradamus said God was the source of the visions and time
travel. And the Spirit was of the divine, as in the Biblical sense...
Videl tell Nostradamus that God was the Devil...
8. Here we have the honest Nostradamus and the dishonest Lier
Videl...telling Nostradamus that " should understand that the spirit is
the Devil.. How would Videl know this? We will see later in the Book..
Videl believes he Moses and speaks directly to the angels that tell him
the future....
9. Videl flings insults all over his book. Trying to convince
Nostradamus that standard set ( I guess Church) Astrologers use
boundaries of terminology set that Videl ad hears to... In the day their
was no standard..As to day their is no standard to aspectarian degrees.
All astrologer point out in the beginning of their work, the sa et
boundaries of aspects.. This is courtesy to the reader.. Here Videl
believes he is the Law..
Aspects down the centuries were chosen from observation and recordings..
This is basic astrology in its self..Their is no such standard.. Which
makes astrology more fascinating. So we see Videl making up the rules
here and insulting Nostradamus for not following his rules..
10. Videl goes on to more insults and accusations that Nostradamus
insulted the astrology science.. and said to Nostradamus in a published
letter. " Am I not as stupid as you think I am?"
11. Videl envies Nostradamus . Envied is attributed to Videl's final
wish of the book.. He says. "After you die, Nostradamus, you will be
forgotten in less than a week." This is Videl's own excellent
prognostication. This was Videl 's secret wish. We call this envy , in
to days psychological janra..
12. Videl brings up Nostradamus cannot calculate correctly the
ascendant. Videl goes on later in the Book to admit that the tables for
chart calculations were vary flawed, and their were many sources.. So
charts did not all ways match up... Nostradamus did not interpolate, as
well as many others in those days..the locals of the towns.. If the
cities were in 1 minuet of the tables closet to the towns ..Then thats
what he used. As we will see... Cyclic astrology that he used does not
require houses at all .. But signs and planet positions..This aspect
Nostradamus was never wrong...
Videl's attack on Nostradamus astrology was at best weak..First of all
Videl couldn't under stand that a new Moon could have the Moon at the
end of a sign and the Sun in the beginning to be new.. Videl couldn't
under stand the signs...
Centuries IV 100. Nostradamus prophecy against astrologer.. He used
soothsayers as the word..But this got Videl dandruff up because Videl
new he was not a real astrologer.As we will see later on in his own
words..
13. Videl goes on to attack Nostradamus exposing his own racist
prejudice of the "common and the poor." He calls Nostradamus more
insults accusing him of his 1556 Almanac that Nostradamus wrote that, "
Happier he who has little or no money. "Videl is angry at Nostradamus
for this..
14. Videl says, the people advised Nostradamus to say bad things about
him ( possibly to the Queen and King ) . Videl emotes; " for if I had
error, you should have shown me by way of understanding." Here
psychologically, Videl, wants Nostradamus as a teacher, and guide, into,
the sacred science that Nostradamus was clearly the master of.. Videl is
of coerce envious to Nostradamus talents and accuracy of predictions.
15. Videl then continues to say. "Their must be some truth to what you
say say. Because, you have correctly predicted and divined things that
have actually happened." So here Videl acknowledges Nostradamus skills.
Which I have to say Videl had nothing compared to Nostradamus in any
area. Whoever this Videl was even Edgar Leoni points out the doubts...
As usual videl goes on to more insults..
The Mentally ill Videl
16. Videl goes on a incoherent tangent. Claiming he is Moses ( quoting
Deuteronomy 18. That whatever commands come from Videl's mouth [him as
Moses] are law.. Even killing Nostradamus. Videl says that any Prophet
including Nostradamus shall be put to death..( You see Videl thinks he
Moses at this point in the Book).
Videl has clearly lost his marbles.. These attacks are in phycology, a
sign of desperation of the losing side... Here Videl a long to be
prophet like Nostradamus.. Has whoever he really is,,, has failed and
possible guilt to accepting money from the Church, for, adding
propaganda prognostications, that were evident in those days..
17. Videl chastises Nostradamus wisdom here, by pointing out that Samuel
in the Bible was wrong and a false prophet.. Nostradamus used to call
himself a seer.. Samuel in her Bible quoted that , " He who is today
called a prophet was once called a seer." Videl cannot grasp history, so
his announces in his Moses voice.. That Nostradamus is wrong calling
himself seer.. So clearly we see why Videl sold only 6000 copies and
this may not be the real accurate number.. Their are not many places to
find Videl on the books shelves of this world... So Videl puts down
Samuel, and Nostradamus and claims his authority is from God and he is
Moses.. ( we can now see that Videl is not all their)...
18. Videl goes on to be extremely mad about the fact Nostradamus burned
all his books and notes. You see Videl wanted badly to view them... He
would have giving his left leg to see them..
Now Videl goes on to quote Ch12 st. Paul tell the Romans,, " Its is
often given to the evil to prophesy." Then Videl is saying that David,
Isaiah, Jeremiah, him as Moses and Daniel, all are evil... because they
are prophets.. So we have Videl saying " evil prophets." As you can
start to see we are dealing with a disturbed individual here. The
mentally ill. Yes even in those days.... A vary envious, wanting vary
despirtly to see Nostradamus fail, lose his fame , his house, his
family, and life....
Then he says.. " Jesus warned us about you" You see Videl believes
Nostradamus is the Anti-Christ.. And you see he is Moses...
19. Videl goes on to be mad in his delusions of grand-jure. As Moses he
says, more insults again. Here in that Nostradamus prophesy till the
year 3797. " who told you that the world will last this long". said
Videl. ( Videl thinks Nostradamus is the Anti-Christ promised in the
final days of the Earth..) " You are a lier"! Then Videl claims he
talked with the angels about this point of Nostradamus.. " They said
nothing of it." ( The Angels were his confidants, because he is Moses)
So here we get Videl's true authority.. He is Moses.. " the angels no
nothing of it" he says to Nostradamus..
Then Videl goes on.. " How can you prophesy for the whole world?" You
see even Videl knows Nostradamus predicted the whole world... America
was known about in the times of Nostradamus... [ See French American
expedition 1490-1500's funded by King Francis I].
20. Continuing Videl attacks Nostradamus predictions of the Universal(
whole) earth.. Claiming that the bible said,God, would never cause " any
more floods or deep inundations[ of water]" as Nostradamus has written
about in his prophecies.
In fact Edgar Casey, as well as miry ed of other 19 and 20 century
prophets have said, in their visions that their will be a great future
floods, and inundations. In fact many of the coastal borders will
change... So her Videl is making insults that cannot be substantiated at
all. Science, has proved that Flooding is a cyclic nature.. Videl is
wrong, but, again..

In those days,, it was written that the planets and their cycles are of
repeating history.. And that planets reign over certain number of years.
Nostradamus says that Mars, which, just finished it cycle"will take up
it coerce again." Videl slings some insults.. ( remember Videl believes
Nostradamus is the end day Anti-Christ). Claiming he has talked again
with the angels,, and, " They have said nothing about it". Videl then
prophesy,, that ," Mars will not take up his coerce again." insults
toward Nostradamus again...
22. He lashes out, as, usual here. Nostradamus wrote one of his
Almanacs atop a tower in his home town.. He was measuring the stars
against the firmament. Videl is clearly against this. First Videl claims
he can write his [ failed] Prognostications with his tables of the sates
and planets in his own windowless room.. then goes on to say that he
agrees with Nostradamus because, the tables in those days were not
accurate.. And Nostradamus measure himself the stars,,was in fact a good
idea.. Videl say ": ephemerides are badly put together." Videl after
insults changes his mind mid paragraph [ A hint how disturbed this
individual was, and why his book is not widely read] to say " The tables
are wrong, I would go check the sky. That is undoubtedly true." After
seeing he agrees with Nostradamus true to the procedures of
psychological disturbance progression,, he makes up that Nostradamus
preformed wired rituals atop the tower, with candles and head dress, and
drawing circles before his star gazing...
23. Ok! Videl attacks Nostradamus for implying sex with a black women..
This is vary interesting to see the racist of Videl rear its ugly
head... As you read this,, it , makes me sick. Videl was a pure racist.
He re Nostradamus has a client with a stress disorder ( A ulcer) Most
ulcers are caused by to much stumic acids that turn food to digestive
readiness for the body.They are extremely strong... Too much and the
acid will burn holes in your stommic..It has long been considered that
ul;cer's are connected with sexual frustration,, causing extreme stress
in he individual. Nostradamus prescribes sex with a black women..
Something that Nostradamus new intimitelly about... Nostradamus loved
black women... The sex was a prescription of stress release, in this
would cause the relaxation of the amount of stommic acid being induced
to the digestive sack.. Videl says " Im not content with consorting with
black women." Nostradamus was clearly not a racist. Videl was!
So, the, picture of Videl is becoming a more and more clearer, that, he
was a twisted and sick, hateful man....
24. Videl attacks Nostradamus ' Traite' des Farmens et confictures', A
vary good book on recipes, and of cosmetics, food, and medicine.. The
Normal insults are yet anticipated here. Videl clear the envious..

Here Videl, insults continue.. " Now if you were a man of reason and
had some grounding in some other science, I would prove to you that
anyone making predictions, presages, almanacs, should not use philosophy
with astrology and try to harmonize them." Her we get Videl the true
ammeter.. Today all the Books on astrology are Philosophy based.. The
Greek and Roman and Sumerian Mythologies, and their concept of their
philosophies, are widely thought to be the true astrology.. Her Videl is
so wrong that it is unthinkable anyone who would not point this out when
writing this in a book..... Nostradamus wrote public ally that he
"wished the harmonizing of Philosophy with astrology would be
establish." ( Videl fails at what was a simple concept and practice of
Nostradamus- now seen in all Astrology Books of the 20 century, and will
continue).
26 Videl go on to allude his envy for Nostradamus. If not the whole
books makes it so obvious, when you read between the lines.. And then
voices his displeasure at Nostradamus. Nostradamus Possibly said
something to the Queen Medicis at Court in the summer of 1555. Videl
goes on to express "his duty to science, that he should write this
book." [ Most likely a secret attack from an organization in the
Prognosticating business field-where big money was at stake] What a
disaster it turned out to be. It just showed who was real macoy, and who
was just the ammeture... Videl goes on more tangical insults.Its really
gets tiring and I think the public all so saw this.. [ A picture of a
true winner] He brings back up that " Nostradamus harmonizing of
Philosophy and Astrology [ used today as the standard of astrology
every where on Earth] is witchcraft, and trickery, deceptions, and
fables.. [ Clearly brain disease was around in those days of France
history]
27. Nostradamus wrote that February 1556 a new moon on the 10th,, with
the Sun in Pisces, and the Moon in Aquarius.. Videl freaks out... Here
come the spewing of insults... and his delusions of self expertise.. All
false because of laws of astronomy/astrology the Moon can be in two
signs at one for this to occur, just close to ether...
For anyone who can understand that the signs are just borders and not
walls in the sky.. The Moon can be at the end of Aquarius at 29' 56"
degrees and the Sun at 0' 12" to be a perfectly ok Full Moon. By NASA
standard... Here again we see Videl's immaturity in Astrology. So Videl
is wrong again..
28. Videl says Nostradamus used God, and that taking away the human
element of folly in men. This concerned Nostradamus use of " Ancient
tables of revolutions,
and the means of secrets." Here Videl is mad. Nostradamus doesn't
divulge to him any secrets...
29. The last thing is just commentary on my part. Here, Videl , a bitter
man, and hateful, full of racism, and delusions of grand-jure [ he
claimed to be Moses and that Nostradamus was the end time Anti-Christ
and the world would end] He died a mentally ill man,,,. Who became just
one in a whirlpool of forgotten souls not yet dry from the swimming in
envy, to rise above the sin to the heaven of learning gratitude.

Ah -- but you're not talking about the 1566 Almanach, are you? Like
Videl himself, you're referring to the one for 15*5*6 -- which is NOT
available from Gary.
OK. Let's take a look at it...
On 10th February 1556 Julian, on the tropical zodiac which both
Nostradamus and Videl were using, the moon was indeed in Aquarius, and
the sun, as Videl says, in Pisces. Therefore the moon wouldn't have
been *new* until just over a day later, when BOTH were in Pisces.
OK, so it's not a huge error -- but factually Videl was perfectly
right.
And Saturn was indeed in Aries at the time, as he says.

The only problem here is that Saturn regarding the Lion ( LEO ) with a
sextile is only possible at the exact time of the Full Moon at 3:00AM
February 11, 1556. For Paris and Milan Julian calendar data used from
NASA Space Ephemerides..!
So either their was a misprint of the date from the 10 which should have
been the 11th, made by the printer. Videl was too dense a subject not to
see the Setile of Saturn to Leo at the exact Moment of the New Moon..
29 Degrees Aquarius 59 minutes Moon. Sun at 1 Minuet and 22 seconds
Pisces at 11:59:59 Local mean time...
This is 1 minuet and 24 seconds of arc. Used Julian date and NASA
Ephemerides, and Paris France as Local and LMT of 11:59 PM the 10th of
February 1556.
At Paris France at 3:00 AM LMT the exact New Moon occurs.. How does
Nostradamus get this wrong when he said that "Saturn with regards to a
Sextile of the Lion" And this can only happen at 3:00 AM Paris on
February 11, 1556 3:00 exact New Moon?
I think a more important question is why Videl is a incompetent
astrologer not to see the sextile. Well the Book is written from his
envy.
At Midnight till 3:00 Am in the morning. Just 3 hour into the 11th of
February, the New Moon passes directly over the Sun degree.. "Saturn
makes a setile to Leo" Before any one wakes up for work in the morning
the New Moon has come and gone.. Videl's attacks are unfounded. It was a
New Moon on the 10th of February. The tables back then weren't
universal. Videl acknowledges this fact to Nostradamus later in the
book.. In all fairness the New Moon falls on the night before the next
morning of the 11th.. What Videl was searching for was remotely anything
to use to discredit Nostradamus as a astrologer because he admitted to
Nostradamus in a letter, that allot of his prognostications were right
on, and this showed his contempt for Nostradamus at his own failed
pronostications in his Almanacs. He dispised Nostradamus public success,
in this vicious work...
This is a New Moon! And is Correct.. Videl was Mentally ill, and
thought he was Moses!
Nostradamus was right! Videl was trying to point out that two signs
cannot be for a New Moon~! Their is no signs! Man made them Up!
Videl is a quack!
Their are self authoritive experts , who really are not, who dribble
this stuff at APN. To try to sway the public to think Nostradamus was
incompetent...
Videl goes on to say for the same day that- "You even say 'Saturn
regarding the Lion with a sextile aspect': Saturn is in Aries, and you
want it to regard Leo with a sextile?!"
Saturn is in the 4th house and is in sextile to the "Lion" the fifth
house. Right as the New Moon goes exactly over Milan Italy at February
11, 1556 Julian data, 3;00 AM.. Nostradamus said the New Moon would be
in the 10 day of February.. But one needs to understand that how could
he correct with Saturn in Aries 'Saturn regarding the Lion with a
sextile aspect'.. Possibly the date was a printers Typo! So we have
Nostradamus exactly on! And Authors still commenting today that
Nostradamus was a failure at everything... When in fact their are
failure's in they believe wacko's words.

Ther indeed was a new Moon on the date in question...as you can see the Moon
(RA 21:52) and the Sun (RA 22:08) were only 16 seconds apart.....
