1. The Motor City Machineguns def. Trent Berreta & Caylon Croft in
13:44 when Chris Sabin pinned Croft after the Cradle Shock, ending the
rookies' winning streak.
Sheamus makes his way out. The Celtic Warrior dethroned John Cena at
TLC, and Triple H is next at Season's Beatings (12/23). "One down, one
to go", the Slammy winning rookie beams. "I keep hearing people asking
for change in this business. I've also heard Triple H & Shawn Michaels
mention something about taking life by the throat. Well, I've done
just that on Raw, and Triple H, you're going down in just 4 days."
2. Matt Morgan def. Paul Burchill with the Hellevator in 3:52.
UWA President Tully Blanchard announced that Raven & Stevie Richards
have been suspended indefinitely for burning Abyss on the 12/10
Impact. That leaves Daffney to find a replacement for Richards for
their mixed tag match------next!
3. Tara & Hernandez def. Daffney and Scott Steiner (subbing for
Richards) in 6:30 when Tara pinned Daffney after the Widow's Peak.
Hernandez made sure Steiner was out of the picture with a plancha on
the floor.
4. #1 contender's match for the UWA Women's title: Awesome Kong def.
Maryse in 5:30 with the Implant Buster. Kong gets her shot at Tara at
Season's Beatings.
5. Non-title: Sheamus def. Jimmy Wang Yang in 3:04 with the Celtic
Thunder (Splash Mountain/Razor's Edge).
Kane meets Eric Escobar backstage. On Smackdown, it was nothing
personal, just business (Kane def. Escobar in a squash thanks to Vicki
Guerrero), but tonight, they're partners against William Regal &
Ezekiel Jackson, and with Vicki suspended by the UWA for misconduct,
Eric has nothing to worry about. We think.......
6. Bobby Lashley def. Kevin Nash via tapout in 11:30 with the Dragon
Sleeper following two spears and a Dominator 2.0 (running powerslam).
7. WWE World title: Undertaker def. Randy Orton in 7:10 with the
tombstone in a return from Raw. Legacy was banned from ringside
(they're in the next match) to ensure a clean finish.
8. WWE tag titles: DeGeneration X def. Legacy in 13:30 when Shawn
Michaels pinned Cody Rhodes after the superkick.
9. UWA World tag team titles: Force Majeure (AJ Hunter & Mark Henry)
def. CM Punk & Luke Gallows via DQ in 12:31 when Punk used one of the
tag belts on Henry right in front of ref Mike Chioda. Henry no-sold
the belt shot, and pancaked Punk in the corner, setting up the World's
Strongest Slam. Gallows tried to save his mentor, but was bum-rushed
over the top.
Post-match, US Champ Mike Mizanin came out and said that he'd
recruited Legacy (Rhodes & DiBiase), Maryse, and the Big Show for his
team to face Force Majeure & MVP. AJ took the mic and said that while
the 4-man & 6-man tag titles are on the line, so is Miz's US title!!!
And this is an elimination match!
10. Kane & Eric Escobar def. William Regal & Ezekiel Jackson in 8:14
when Kane pinned Jackson after the chokeslam.
Vicki Guerrero appeared via video from El Paso. She may not be able to
appeal her suspension, but she has made sure Escobar will have a very
difficult time just the same. She has the exclusive right to book
Escobar's matches on Smackdown (as we've seen the last three weeks),
or so she claims. UWA Commissioner Stephanie McMahon comes out to the
stage. Steph claims her father has been "serviced" by Vicki, which
explains her "consultant" job, which in Steph's mind makes Vicki a
glorified snitch coveting Teddy Long's job as GM. That's soon going to
come to an end, because at Season's Beatings, Vicki is going to have
to fight to keep her job. And that's all Steph will say for now.......
11. TNA World title: AJ Styles def. Eric Young in 12:30 with the
Styles Clash.
