Other sites work fine on your laptop?

And do you have a popup blocker running?
You may have accidentally blocked those
sites.  I've done that before, with Popup
Killer (you double click on the item in the
list of open windows, when you bring up
the Popup Killer window). and had to
remove them from the black list.
