Okay, that makes sense.  Well, that is a weird one.

Are you running a router?

Also, I recommend you download the free version
of Spyware Doctor and scan.  It's good at picking
up stuff like that.

It's tough to find the free version anymore, but I
can email it to you.  It is free, after all. :)

It won't do real time scanning, but has all of the
scanning abilities.  Make sure to update first
and I would boot into Safe Mode first.

If that doesn't help. let me know.  I will see if I can
be more helpful.  But don't forget to answer the
router question.

It is unlikely that it is a router issue, since if you
had filtered your IP for port 80, you shouldn't
see any web sites at all.

Can you also please tell me all of the programs
that you have running at startup?
