Lately I have found the above in my bottom bar and wonder what it is. If I
reboot the next time it does not show up. Curious.

I've just noticed it for the first time today as well.
It's nowhere in control panel's add/remove programs listing.
Perhaps I'll try searching the registry??
Thanks,

I am using Windows xp media center edition 2005 on a HP Compaq Presario
SR2020NX.
Curious as to what you find.

I, too, booted this morning and found the strange file located at the
bottom of the screen in the minimized program area. It will not maximize
or close. This is the only place I found any info regarding this matter.
Found it by Googling. So I registered at this site to post.
I have an XP Media Center Edition 2005 by HP Pavillion, series a1310n.
I'll try to reboot to get rid of it. Thanks, guys. I'll be checking back
for more information if anyone has some.

It seems to have something to do with the 'My Games' program on my
Compaq. When I list All Programs, I see an entry (near the most recent)
called DISCover and that expands out to My Games and Update My Games. I
chatted with HP Support about it and they didnt seem to know much. They
did however suggest removing DISCover.exe from startup in MSConfig and
when I did that, My Games started up on reboot of the system.

I posted on this quite some time ago and I have your OS. Probably related to
that OS since in all the time I believe only one other person mentioned it.
Ahh the mysteries of PC's.
