Spyware Doctor Program Conflicts

Hello

I'm wondering if there are known conflicts between Spyware Doctor (SD)
and other programs of that type.

I installed SD a couple of days ago & immediately my computer slowed
down down noticeably
( many programs that started almost instantly were taking approx. 2
minutes to load ). Persevered for 2 days, problem continued,
uninstalled SD & computer is running fine again.

I have these programs on my computer:-

BullGuard Internet Security Suite
Ad-Aware
HostsMan
Spybot Search & Destroy
SpywareBlaster

SD was version 5 something with all current updates.

Any comments appreciated.

You can have multiple anti-spyware installed, if all but one is set up
for only manual scanning when you launch it. If you have more than one
of these actively protecting your computer, along with an anti-virus,
there will be problems like you described.

On my computer, Windows Defender and Avast4 free are running all the
time, but I manually scan with Malwarebytes, SUPERAntiSpyware, Ad-Aware
and Spybot about once a week.

Thanks for your reply. Bullguard is always active, so too I think
SpywareBlaster & HostsMan. I think the others just work when manually
activated.
