Tried this with Putty telnet. Seemed to work but haven't gotten
anything back via email. The only problem was that ehlo had to
be in capitals.

It's a two part process. First, a valid nym config request must arrive
at the nym server. When this happens, the nym is created and listed.
Next, the confirmation email is sent back to you via your reply

I have read over the FAQ's, but here I am bumbling and stumbling about.
I really haven't a clue as to what I'm doing, but alas one must start
somewhere.
As I said, I was surprised that my username is listed in the Nym list.
However no confirmation email was received.
This isn't much, but maybe there's some glaring error that might pop out
