I publish the logfiles as it often helps users to figure out why their
messages aren't arriving. Additionally I think publishing the logs is a
good way to remind people not to treat the mail2news gateway as an
anonymity tool.

A Mail2News Gateways simply takes an email message, modifies a few
headers and posts it to Usenet. The source of the mail could be a
standard mail server, an anonymous remailer or anything else that's
capable of sending an email message.

Remailers, (and remailer users) use mail2news gateways as a means to
post to Usenet. Many other users use mail2news gateways without
remailers. In either instance, the gateway provides no anonymity, it
just posts messages.

M2N gateways aren't part of any "suite" or anything. They're a tool
that performs a specific function that coincidentally solves a
problem for anonymous remailer users. The tool itself adds nothing
at all to your anonymity, it's just a way to move data from one
place to another. Data that just happens to be anonymized when
people like us use them.
