Let's leave the Christians alone in their day, this day when they are
pigging out... and turn our attention to other no less holy religions.
Yes, this means I'm departing from the masters, and going more to my
monkey roots, but my conclusion is that THERE'S NO REINCARNATION. Take
the example above: I'm a monkey in this life and a lion in the next
one. That's absolutely ridiculous!
I can relate to their peaceful ways, their search for inner peace,
but I have a hard time accepting that I will become a lion or a rat,
much less a Christian.

"The wise ways of the jungle teach you not to be prey to the
predators"
try strechin dah monkey or iz it spankin doh chicken?
You *were* scheduled to come back as pope before
that outburst. Oh, well...
Imagine we become chicken in our next life and we become roasted
chicken!
Perish the thought! Well, at least the Tibetan Monks are vegetarian,
right?
Dalai Lama's World Peace Ceremony Goes Vegetarian
AMARAVATI - At Kalachakra for World Peace 2006, presided over by the
Dalai Lama, all the food served to the 200,000 people attending the
ceremony was vegetarian. He made a speech in Tibetan, criticizing
factory farming and meat consumption, and urging Tibetans to stop the
trade in wild animal skins and furs.

Well, at least let me back as a mosquito to spoil Intelligent
Design...
You don't really believe them? I wished the Pope made such a call at
least.
> DEFINITION: embodiment in a new form
A new form, by definition, is something else, therefore any distinct and
separate entity has its own identity and is incapable of being another
entity.
Biology, neuroscience and common sense, between them, teach us that
consciousness, upon which a sense of identity is contingent, is by
definition a property of biological entities.
Since the contingency of consciousness upon material entity is clear,
unambiguous and incontrovertible, any attempt to separate consciousness
from the material reality upon which it is contingent is a direct and
deliberate process of dishonesty. Reincarnation, is therefore not only an
impossibility, it is a lie.
Any questions?

You are not helping, IMO.
OK, it's a lie based on wishful thinking. "I wished I could fly" is
not the same as "I will fly when I die."

He's not helping the lie, I think.
How are you helping?
I'm having pie in the sky when I die.
Well, that's what the afterlife is all about, right?
But reincarnating in a Christian would be the downside of it.
Q: How do religions resemble the Dalai Lama?
A: You see one, you've seen them all.
