Let's assume the crucifiction really took place (ie. that the fiction
is real)... and then a few later Jesus rose from the dead. What's the
big deal about when he didn't commit the "ultimate sacrifice," which
is to die and be really dead?

The non Christians though can claim many more victims and not less
painful death... the Inquisition inflicted excruciating torture, the
Conquistadors and colonists committed genocide against the Indians
followed by the slavery against the Africans, the Church was behind
the Spanish Civil War against the freedom-loving Libertarians, etc.

I think the CRUCIFICTION has been created and re-created with an
agenda in mind, but the opposition can claim far more victims.

Merely dead, not really most sincerely dead ... and knew about it in
advance; IOW all for show.

Here's another take on "Christians."

While the “judicial” United States Supreme Court busies itself these
days deciding what the law is (Ahem: Legislating is not a ‘judicial’
function.) ad hoc and communicating with the Framers [via political
séance type necromancy] to determine and/or guess as to what they
really meant when they wrote the United State Constitution; I think We
the People need to take time to critically analyze exactly what “our
Constitution” actually says de jure [as written], compare the actions
of the U.S. government with that document, and see for ourselves
whether our so-called servants are upholding our trust. We need to
make sure there isn’t a beam in our eyes before we set to removing
motes from the eyes of the rest of the world; it’s the Christian thing
to do...

Are you aware that they found the body?

My last report is that the Jews have made a replica of the empty tomb
of Jesus, and the Christians can go and take a look, in effect finding
NOTHING. ;)
