Below you will find information about
ICANN's meeting. I talked with Tina
Beth Burton on the phone this morning
and she said regular people will be
charged $50 dollars but the press can
get in Free.
I don't know if they get a box lunch but
the people who pay the $50 get a box
lunch.
Box Lunch includes:
A sandwich which is usually on a multi-grain roll.
Choice of Ham, Turkey, Roast beef, Tuna Salad
or Chicken Salad or Vegetarian. The lunches
have already been ordered so I'm not sure how
you get the one you want, if you get to ask for it
or if you have to trade with someone who wants say
a Turkey, they have a Tuna, you want the Tuna so
they'll be happy to trade their Turkey.
Pasta Salad will also be included. Not the mayonnaise
based kind but the vinagrette kind which packs better IMHO.
Also a choice of a bag of chips, pretzels, that kind of thing.
Here again, I think if you get say a package of original Lay's
and somebody else has a Sour Cream and Chives you have
to trade between yourselves.
Cookie-choice of oatmeal, choc.chip, sugar, peanut butter and
maybe raisin.
Choice of bottled water, soda or coffee.
Not sure if there will be tables or if you have to eat off your lap.
There will also be a breakfast included in your $50 fee
and there when you register.
Assorted pastries, bagels and juice and coffee.
There will also be a snack in the afternoon of
cookies and brownies and something to drink.
Does anyone know if this is being broadcast on the
Internet somewhere? It seems like the perfect thing to
do.
