   And I'm saying it doesn't MATTER if he's "credible"
   because the masses can't TELL what's actually "credible".
   He could be wearing a clown nose and talking about the
   wisdom he receives from the moon men (the book of Mormon
   ain't far off from that BTW) and might STILL get elected
   because he's the Not-Obama, the Not-Democrat, not the
   failed messiah they fell for last time. Obama didn't
   deliver instant nirvana, ergo he's crap and anyone
   would be better.

   Yes, as a group, humans ARE that gullible, that fickle,
   that short on facts and understanding. How was it put
   in that movie .... "*A* person is smart., *People* are
   are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals ..." ? Alas it's
   true, and has been widely exploited over the ages. It
   is one of the prime reasons the Electorial College was
   created - a final buffer against any transient madness
   in the crowd. Alas the EC is just a random sample of
   the very people they're supposed to watch out for ...
