Romney's BushCo era response to them sent Obama up even more than the
GOP Convention!

You'd think that Mittens would have gotten a clue on neoconism's
standing with the Tea Party after the GOP establishment barred the
toxic W. Bush from the convention but Willard is so out of touch he
cannot even take a hint from his own party!

The whole point of Ryan was to garner the Teabagger vote even at the
expense of losing Florida.

So again, who is Mitt's target audience?

I've heard or read somewhere that the only people voting for Romney
are those who have or think they will soon have so much extra income

the republican party is simply running out of al bundy, homer

basic math, let alone come in from the rain.
the constitution of the united states was a anti-conservative
statement by the majority of the founders of the united states of
america.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

but upon careful examination "THE CONSERVATIVES"  feeble attempts at
confusion and dishonesty does not stand up to the light. they live in
a counter-factual universe, the product of the hermetically sealed
"CONSERVATIVE" subculture. Trying to see the world through the lens
of
"THE CONSERVATIVE", is like looking at a fun-house mirror;
everything’s backwards and distorted.

"THE CONSERVATIVES" world view is flawed because its based upon a
small and particularly rosy sliver of reality.  To preserve that world
view, "THE CONSERVATIVES" believe that people had morally earned their
“just” desserts, and had to ignore those whining liberals who tried to
point out that the world didn’t actually work that way.  I think this
shows why "THE CONSERVATIVES" put so much effort into “creat[ing]
their own reality,” into fostering distrust of liberals, experts,
scientists, and academics, and why they won’t let a campaign “be
dictated by fact-checkers” (as a Romney pollster put it).  It explains
why study after study shows that avid consumers of "THE CONSERVATIVE"-
oriented media are more poorly informed than people who use other news
sources or don’t bother to follow the news at all.

EGTRRA generally reduced the rates of individual income taxes:
- a new 10% bracket was created for single filers with taxable income
up to $6,000, joint filers up to $12,000, and heads of households up
to $10,000.
- the 15% bracket's lower threshold was indexed to the new 10% bracket
- the 28% bracket would be lowered to 25% by 2006.
- the 31% bracket would be lowered to 28% by 2006
- the 36% bracket would be lowered to 33% by 2006
- the 39.6% bracket would be lowered to 35% by 2006

The EGTRRA in many cases lowered the taxes on married couples filing
jointly by increasing the standard deduction for joint filers to
between 174% and 200% of the deduction for single filers.

Additionally, EGTRRA increased the per-child tax credit and the amount
eligible for credit spent on dependent child care, phased out limits
on itemized deductions and personal exemptions for higher income
taxpayers, and increased the exemption for the Alternative Minimum
Tax, and created a new depreciation deduction for qualified property
owners.

What do you think of starting a new tradition in political
conventions:

Each party could invite a former president from the _other_ party to
speak at their convention.

If the former president refuses -- fine. Everyone will know that he
was never bi partisan.

Even more, if the presidunce wasn't allowed to speak at his own
party's convention, then he'll get an opportunity to explain his sorry
self at the other party's convention.

And if he won't explain his sorry self anywhere then maybe a special
prosecutor needs to get him on the stand.

Well no Brett, because those actions might eventually result in a
threat to much needed national educational goals in the arts and
sciences. It may result in reduced environmental regulation, social
justice and tax revenue.

I favor only intra-party operations, with as few cross-aisle

How does "winger" mean that? Linguistically that makes no sense. You
see, there is such a thing as a left-winger or a right-winger.
"winger" by itself might kinda implythat you lean politically
somewhere other than the center. But it does not indicate what
direction you lean, ie. left or right.

So please explain how the single word "winger" indicates what
direction you lean politically?

In actual usage (specially in forums), the term "winger" has become
"right winger". I guess there are many other derisive term to refer to
the left.

I propose a verification. Go to Google and type "far winger". See how
many times the word "right" shows up.

The reason is that the far left is pretty much inexistent in this
country. We Liberals have our wacko locos chained in the basement, and
the political power they hold approaches zero. On the right, the
insane are running the asylum.

Objective proof that you're a fascist?

Your entire posting history is solid evidence of that.

Esteemed Bert, you must be confusing me with somebody else.

My political ideology is the same as that of:

- William Jefferson Clinton
- Hillary Rodham Clinton

Who happen to be the most admired politicos in the US. Hardly
fascists!!

it is impossible for liberals to be fascists. fascists hate liberals,
trade unionist, socialists, communists, jews(because most of them are
liberal), the weak, the disabled, minorities, homosexuals. they are
intolerant of other views and religions. they practice bigotry,
racism, and homophobia, etc. say, i just described the modern
conservative movement:)

I have a slightly different view. Granted, the term "fascist" has
different meanings to different people.

Having said that, I believe that fascism can be found on the right
(Mussolini, Franco, Pinochet) as well as the left (Stalin, Castro,
North Korea).

HOWEVER, Nazism is STRICTLY Right.

i see both extremes as being almost one in the same. in either
system, regardless if its a conservative(fascist)economy, or a
communist(marxist)economy, almost all wealth and power ends up in the
hands of a few.

It's called "The wisdom of crowds." Given enough diversity, the sum of
INFORMED opinion generally matches future predictions. James
Surowiecki, among others, wrote a book about the phenomena. The larger
the number of predictions, collective, tends to converge on what
actually happens.

At the moment, the most popular conservative candidate for USA
presidency, Obama, is at 75%; the fascist is at 25%.

The more predictions made, the closer the outcomes sum to 100%
