A DC resident -- who is also a paid shill for the Cato Institute and
the NRA -- sued DC and the case "Heller v. DC" went all the way to
SCOTUS.
SCOTUS decided that the 2nd Amendment establishes an individual right
to gun ownership, but, at the same time, SCOTUS decided that local
authorities can establish reasonable regulations on gun ownership and
use.
Couple of days ago, DC ended their ban on gay marriage. Opponents
filed in federal court and pushed the case to SCOTUS. Chief Justice
Roberts turned down their appeal, thereby allowing the DC gay marriage
law to stand.
When Ol' Kickin' pointed out that SCOTUS is now on record as
supporting same gender marriage, "Patriot Games" declared that SCOTUS
has no jurisdiction over the District of Columbia.

So -- according to that revered Constitutional scholar, "Patriot
Games," the SCOTUS has no jurisdiction over DC and, by that token,
Heller v. DC is NULL, VOID, AND WITHOUT EFFECT. Handguns are still
illegal in the District -- thanks to PG for pointing out this fact.
Meanwhile, you, too, can be an NRA Patron Member -- buy yourself a
NRA Patron Member lapel pin here, wear it to gun shows, and enjoy free
booze and eats at the NRA hospitality booth -- works for Ol' Kickin'
every time -- go to eBay and check out item number 220425957861 .
Oops! Caught LYING. Heller is NOT an employee of the Cato Institute.
His lawyer, Robert A. Levy, IS a Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute,
HOWEVER the Cato Institute did NOT pay for the lawsuit, it was
personally funded by Robert A. Levy.
Robert A. Levy

That's almost correct. This is completely correct: 1) The 2nd
Amendment is an individual right; 2) Local authorities can establish
rules and regulations; 3) NOBODY can BAN firearms, including local
authorities.

You don't need to quote all of that useless stuff. People who don't
understand it aren't impressed and people who do understand it know
it's useless.
You only need this:

Oops! Caught LYING, again.
I said SCOTUS doesn't "have review over the District."
YOU SAID "SCOTUS has no jurisdiction over DC."
Oops! Caught LYING, again.
"Article One of the United States Constitution provides for a federal
district, distinct from the states, to serve as the permanent national
capital. [...] However, the United States Congress has supreme
authority over Washington, D.C., and may overturn local laws."

Oops! Caught LYING, again.
Section 2 of Article Three of the United States Constitution:
"The judicial Power [of SCOTUS] shall extend to all Cases, in Law and
Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United
States, and..."
Since the Heller suit was SPECIFICALLY pertaining to the CONSTITUTION
the Supreme Court DID have review.
Since the Faggot suit was NOT SPECIFICALLY pertaining to the
CONSTITUTION the Supreme Court DID NOT have review.

The pin will NOT get you anything special WITHOUT the Membership Card
which you can ONLY get from the NRA...
You can go rinse your mouth, I'm finished urinating in it.
