(2) You may want to ask Dick Armey, Founder and Funder of the Tea
Party:

"With Latinos forming the fastest-growing electoral bloc in the
nation, Armey says the GOP seems to be saying, “Let’s go out and
alienate them.” Armey said socially conservative Latino and African
American voters are natural constituents for the GOP ... if
Republicans don’t push them away. “The party was born with the
Emancipation Proclamation,” he said. But today, he added, “it can’t
get a black [or Hispanic] vote to save its life.” (**)

(**) I am sure you folks wonder what happened after Mr. Armey made
those sensible statements. The likes of Michelle Bachmann and Glenn
Beck told him to STFU, and he obliged: the angry bagger mobs drowned
his calls for rationality.

The whole idea that people vote by skin color is racist.

If you pander to people that tell you this you are lapping up their
racist propaganda.

If you put your skin color above your country and vote race rather than
voting what is best for the Nation, you are the racist.

What people do this, It's NOT a race that does this it's the Liberal
ideology that is based on race that does this. The core values of
Liberalism are about race and use race as a tool to use to get
elected.... rather than voting for what's best for the Nation as their
basic core value.

IF the man acted in true self defense, then yes he should be set free.
Makes no differnce what the skin color is or heritage is.

The thing about this case is, Zimmerman had no legal cause to act as a
police officer and even question Martin about anything.
Let alone "hold" Martin for the cops.
Regardless of Martin's past history, which is inadmissable evidence, it is
Zimmerman's actions that are on trial, not Martin's.

The question has always been, do you have the legal right to shoot and kill
someone who hit you with their fists and that person was not armed?
The answer is no, you do not.

You must want the KKK voters too, because they will also vote based on
skin color like you Liberals want people to do.

Their actual skin color is irrelevant, the important fact is that they
will vote based on skin color. That's the basis of Liberalism.

Except for that final confrontation. Who is determined to have started
the physical portion will go a long way. What will be interesting is how
that will be deduced by the jury.

> The question has always been, do you have the legal right to shoot and

Problems with that. A person can most certainly kill you with their bare
hands and Zimmerman had no way of knowing whether or not Martin was
armed. He could make a supposition that he was not but he didn't know
for sure, AFAIK. The bottom line will most likely come down to who the
jury believes started the physical portion of the encounter.

The legal right for self defense including the use of deadly physical
force comes down to whether or not a "reasonable person" would belive
that there was an immediate fear of loss of life or serious bodily harm
to oneself or an innocent third party. For "reasonable person" read that
as the police, a prosecutor, a judge, or the jury.

He wasn't. By all accounts he was in a public place where he was

Zimmerman can legally question anyone about anything. Because 1st

Zimmerman couldn't legally hold (why the scare quotes?) Martin unless
he, Zimmerman, had witnessed Martin commit a crime. But no account of
that night has mention of a citizens arrest.

True. But Martin's actions may provide Zimmerman an affirmative defense.

The answer in Florida is that you have the legal right to shoot and kill
someone whom you reasonably fear will harm you.

The IRS didn't silence the teahadists, you blithering ignoramus. The
IRS held up tax-free status for some of the money-laundering operations.
But this couldn't affect their political activities. Their political
donations weren't tax deductible whether they got registration or not;
their expenditures on individual campaigns were taxable whether they got
registration of not. Tax exemption would have been retroactive, and so
far the only groups that have had tax-exempt status rejected were
liberal groups.

In any case, these weren't money-making operations; they were money
spending operations.

Probably in most states. Possibly in Florida, but SYG allows you to use
deadly force if you're reasonably in fear for your life or safety. If
so, you may be the first to use physical force.

They don't have to. If they find reasonable doubt that Zimmerman wasn't
in fear for his life, they acquit without the deduction.

Again, the important issue is not who started the fight, but who was in

Stand you ground in Florida consists of eight words in the self defense
statute 776.012. That statute reads:

"776.012 Use of force in defense of person.輸 person is justified in
using force, except deadly force, against another when and to the extent
that the person reasonably believes that such conduct is necessary to
defend himself or herself or another against the other's imminent use of
unlawful force. However, a person is justified in the use of deadly force
and does not have a duty to retreat if:

(1) He or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to
prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or
another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony; or

(2) Under those circumstances permitted pursuant to s. 776.013.

See that part about being justified......if ..he or she reasonable
believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great
bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent
commission of a forcible felony, or (then it goes on to cover 776.013
which is Castle Doctrine and not an issue in this case).

Just what about that do you feel is much different than what I said?

> If so, you may be the first to use physical force.

Yes, but there is that pesky "reasonable person" syndrome. That probably
wouldn't come in to play without aggressive action on Martin's part.

In Florida the burden of proof is on the prosecution. Angela Corey will
have to prove to the jury that Zimmerman's claim of self defense has no
merit. The burden is on her, not Zimmerman. However, if she can
manipulate testimony right, she can, essentially, place that burden on
Zimmerman in the minds of the jury.

Which generally is not the person who started the fight. You cannot
start a fight and then claim self defense when you are getting your ass
kicked.

In some states, you have the affirmative duty to try to get the fuck out
of harm's way if you feel threatened in public. If that's possible, you
don't get to use justification as an affirmative defense. As your quote
of the statute shows, that doesn't obtain in Florida. In some states
(e.g., Ohio), your use of force must be proportional to the actual
threat. As your quote shows, that doesn't obtain in Florida either. In
some states, you can't be the aggressor (i.e., the guy who throws the
first punch) and claim justification. As your quote shows, that doesn't
obtain in Florida either.

I'm not saying a jury won't convict Zimmerman, but the law gives him a
powerful shield: his action is legally justifiable on the basis of
reasonable fear. And he killed the only rebuttal witness.
>

And if we had a videotape of the incident, things would be different.
But if Zimmerman testifies, he's gonna say he was reasonably afraid --
he was attacked from behind with no legal provocation, he was being
injured, his attacker went for his gun, which he was in legal possession
of. Who can gainsay his account? He killed the only rebuttal witness.

Well, yeah. I'm just talking about the law. Trials are a different matter.

In Florida, you can. That's the point of SYG. If you're reasonably in
fear for your life, you don't have to wait to get punched. You get to
go first. Of course, if you've brought a gun to a fistfight, you won't
do any punching.

Nor have I seen any evidence produced that Zimmerman did so, or attempted to
do so.

Freedom of speech no long applies in the US?

You can ask anyone questions and you don't have to have legal cause to do
so.

Again, no evidence he did so or attempted to do so.

> Regardless of Martin's past history, which is inadmissable evidence, it is

Perhaps, but when attempting to figure out who did what, motivations can be
relevant particularly when one person isn't there to speak about their
motivations.

So normally, I would agree with you, however if the Prosecution attempts to
make a case that Zimmerman couldn't have been justified in acting in self
defense because Trayvon would never have attacked him....then some of
Trayvon's past history does indeed become relevant and admissible.

> The question has always been, do you have the legal right to shoot and

BULLSHIT.

Are you telling me I could beat you to death....and you couldn't engage in
legal self defense because I was only using my fists?

Sorry, but the method of attack does NOT control whether you can engage in
self defense or not.

Off hand it looks to me like you need to educate yourself about this event
and the relevant laws before your opinion is going to have any merit.

Latinos come in all shades of skin color. They aren't a race, and are
quite disparate ethnically. They share certain experiences, and they
vote their perceived interests. Just like us white folks.

Keep telling Latinos that they form a mindless bloc of voters. Keep
telling Latinos that Democrats are racist for supporting issues that
Latinos find important. They love hearing that.

That's true. Massachussetts was one of them.

If that's

It goes via the reasonable person. If a "reasonable person" doesn't feel
you have justification for deadly physical, you essentially do not have
it in a court room.

In some states (e.g., Ohio), your use of force must be

The point is that Zimmerman does have some burden to prove that he was in
fear of his life or possible serious injury. It is not to the point of
being beyond shadow of doubt, that onus belongs to Core, but there has to
be some feeling from Zimmerman that he was in danger. Without that, then
the law in Florida (where I lived for almost twenty years) and in Arizona
where I have lived most of my adult life would be that you could simply
pick a fight and then kill the other party if they escalated it. One
reason why in many states to get a self defense claim you have to be
involved in a lawful activity. You cannot rob a bank and then kill a
police officer for shooting at you on your way out.

Yes, it does. I still haven't made up my mind on that case yet. Too
much crap on the internet and little of it under any rule of testimony.
I can wait a few more days to make up my mind on the evidence.

There were a couple of eyewitnesses to the ending of the encounter.

Excuse me, but there has to be some sort of stimulus for you to make that
claim. You can't really walk up to someone, shoot him and then claim,
well, if he had turned around he could have hurt me.

You get

The only groups that had their tax-exempt status denied were liberal
groups. The teahadists had their applications delayed, but that
wouldn't have mattered for their status as 501(c)4's, which are required
to register. It's very unlikely these teahadist money launderers had
any money left over in 2012 to tax. They were in business to spend
money to influence elections.

> Sounds like it was an attempt to suppress free speech to me.

But you're an ignoramus. All sorts of nonsense "sounds like" to you.

> Taxing
> free speech is not only unconstitutional it unAmerican.

Nobody is taxing speech. These organizations applied for an exemption
from taxes. The worst that happened was that some of them had to
resubmit their applications.

> What kind of Socialist Communist Liberals bastards would do such a
> thing? Are they all from Chicago?

It's all made up to manipulate you into a hissy fit. And it worked.
Ignoramuses like you are always easy to manipulate. Again:

None of the 501(c)4 donations were tax deductible, with or without
registration.

All of the 501(c)4 expenditures on individual campaigns were taxable
with or without registration.

The 501(c0)4's could claim tax exempt status with or without
registration. Registration would be valuable as a safe harbor, though.
In any case, it's unlikely these groups had money left over to tax.
They were in business to spend it, not save it.

Then why is a crime against a Latino a racial hate crime if you call
him/her a "Beaner" You can change that out with black guy and calling
him/her the appropriate slur. Any way you cut it, Latino's are a
"racial" block in the Liberal world. I see people as different and
NOne vote as a block

Now I'm confused..... when is a racial hate crime NOT about race?

Only when the Race is Latino?

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her
experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a
white male who hasn’t lived that life,” said Judge Sotomayor,

Are white males a race?

Zimmerman's burden is preponderance of the evidence on an affirmative
defense. But unless there's forensics we don't know about, there's
nothing to rebut him. The prosecution's burden isn't beyond a shadow of
a doubt, but beyond a reasonable doubt.

No, to use SYG, you have to be in some place lawfully, and that
eliminates committing assault by picking a fight.

Nope. You can be mistaken. That is, you thought there was a stimulus,

Of course not. No jury would believe you reasonably thought you were in

to tell the story, and that's not how he tells it.

I don't think smarts has much to do with it. Fear and adrenaline beat
smarts every time for the untrained.

So do blacks and whites.... yet you count those colors as voter blocks.
And I keep hearing Democrats tell republicans that they are chasing away
the Latino voting block. This run and hide from that is funny.

What color is a race hate crime when you use the "N" word? If I call a
white guy that "N" word while kicking his ass, is it a hate crime?

In a racial crime you want to have miles of room to fudge the race but

Liberals are pitiful. You Liberals better learn to check your racism

I will simply note that SYG has nothing to do about having to wait to get
punched. You don't have to wait to get punched in a non-SYG state. You
simply need to establish reasonable fear of an attack that could cause you
serious bodily injury or death. SYG simply means that you don't have to take
a reasonable avenue of escape. I think you still should but it's nice not to
have worry about others second guessing whether jumping out of a window on
the 40th floor (reference to Judge Dredd) would have been a reasonable
avenue of escape.

Judge Dredd: [Dredd has caught Fergee trying to escape inside a servo-droid
and is judging him for damaging public property] And you haven't even been
out of jail for 24 hours. He's habitual, Hershey. Automatic 5 year sentence.
How do you plead?

Fergee: Not guilty?

Judge Dredd: I knew you'd say that.

Fergee: 5 years? No! No! I had no choice! They were killing each other in
there!

Judge Dredd: You could have gone out the window.

Fergee: 40 floors? It would have been suicide!

Judge Dredd: Maybe, but it's legal.

One person a bloc cannot make. What percentage of old white men voted
for Rmoney? Were they a bloc?

I know, Sparky. Still and again.

Hate crimes are crimes motivated by animus toward a person based on various
characteristics -- race, ethnicity, religion, etc.

There is no Latino race.

And then she went on to explain that such feeling was dangerous, which
is why judges must be guided by the law. Where is the word race applied
to Latinos in this quote?

> Are white males a race?

Half of one.

Latinos are people who came from or whose ancestors came from
Spanish-speaking regions. They are all shades of skin color -- white,
brown, black.

A small to vanishing number of black people have white skin. A small to
vanishing number of white people have black skin.

I don't count anybody. Race is self-identified.

Voting blocs need not be based on race. What's so hard about this?

If you attacked him because he was white or because you mistakenly
thought he was black, then yes. What's your point?

A Latino is someone from a Spanish-speaking culture or whose ancestors
were. That's the definition. It's not mine.

And you think some statement by some unknown lady transcends my logic? Why
would you think that? Have I proved to you that I am incapable of thinking

Why don't you address the real problem. Arizona is the whipping boy for
millions of illegals coming across our border into this country and going no
further that Arizona in order to collect government handed out freebies. Of
course the real problem is the freebies. - They shouldn't even exist. But if
you liberals want them, then figure out some waqy for Arizona to get them to
its citizens and not to illegals. And, while you are at it, figure out how
to keep those illegals from traveling to other states and destroying their
freebie systems. IOW, address the real problem.

In some non-SYG states, lethal force is not permitted it you did not
face lethal force. In Florida, that's not the case.

That's pitiful, playing games when we both know that three guys of a
different color whip one person of another race and they call the person
getting their ass kicked a racial slur.... you and I know that that
slur will be used to make it a race hate crime. Unless maybe it's a
white male getting that ass whooping.

You hide from "race" when it's you calling an ethnic group a racial name
but when you get to cry that there was a hate crime, suddenly you want
to make it all vague and put any racial slur from a KKK member into the
hate crime box.

It isn't the, "Hispanic Market" that's the problem. Its, the freebie market.
What kind of an economic system woulde steal from the industrious and give
to the indolent, and for how long would such a system survive? Why don't you
guys see that there is no way that everyone can live off of the government?
The obvious way to go is to insist that all who can should work and pay
their own way. At the least, these should be idolized, and at best, they
should get more than everyone else.

No but the Fact Liberals divide people up like that and suggest they
vote a certain way because their skin is within a specific range of
color is telling about Liberalism.

Its says little about the voting but a lot about who the real racists are.

In his first Presidentiol bid, 95% of the, "Third World People" voted for
Obama, so he is correct.... Obama won the presidency partly because he was
half black. All the white votes he got were because he was a good,
campaigner and looked like he would make a good president. I personally
liked him better than Mcain, but I couldn;t vote for a liberal. If Jesus
Christ was running on the Democratic ticket as a liberal, and Adolf Hitler
was running on the Republican ticket as a conservative, I would vote for
Adolf....... I am as prejudiced against liberals as the third world

You can't, because liberals define racism as discrimination against people
of color, and deny that it is also discrimination against white people. IOW,
only white people can be racists to a liberal. Discrimination against white
people, is, "Reverse discrimination" and is perfectly ligitimate to a
liberal. In my case, I broaden it to mean any discrimination against anyone
because of anything he/she had no control over, but was either born with, or
raised into from birth. Discrimination against gays is racism in my
book.....

That's BS. I wish it were true, though!! See actual percentages below.

Which is the party where hatred is most concentrated and distilled?

The only ones qualified to make a statement are the victims of
prejudice, persecution and racism themselves. Let's ask them, shall
we?

Here's their response (2008):

- Black folks voted for Obama, by a 96% margin.
- Jewish folks voted for Obama, by a 75% margin.
- Hispanic folks voted for Obama, by a 66% margin.
- Asian folks voted for Obama, by a 63% margin.
- Gay folks voted for Obama, by an unknown margin.

...if Ryan is an extremist and his proposals are so unpopular, how has
he won election seven times in a Democratic district? His lowest share
of the vote was 57 percent — in his first race. He routinely wins over
two-thirds of the vote. When Obama swept the nation in 2008, he
carried Ryan’s district by four points. But at the same time, Ryan won
reelection with 65 percent of the vote, meaning that a fifth of Obama
voters also voted for him.

Pew estimates that roughly 1.4-million Mexicans came to the United

1.4-million Mexicans and their U.S.-born children who moved to Mexico.
In the five preceding years, the flow was 3-million northbound and
less than 700,000 southbound, for a net increase of 2.3-million.

We learned that there is, in fact, a government program that provides
discounted phone service to low-income people, depending on where
participants live, through Federal Communications Commission programs.
Specifically, a program called Lifeline provides discounts on basic
monthly phone service, according to the FCC website.
http://www.fcc.gov/guides/lifeline-and-link-affordable-telephone-service-income-eligible-consumers

Eligible participants must have an income that is at or below 135
percent of the federal poverty level or use Medicaid, food stamps,
federal public housing assistance, or supplemental security income,
among other things. In some cases, states administer their own
programs.

LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Early discussion of Baden-Powell's sexuality focused on his
relationship with his close friend Kenneth McLaren. Tim Jeal's later
biography discusses the relationship and finds that there is no
conclusive evidence that this friendship was physical. Jeal then
examines Baden-Powell's views on women, his appreciation of the male
form, his military relationships, and his marriage, concluding that
Baden-Powell might have been a repressed homosexual. Jeal's conclusion
is shared by some biographers and disputed by others, but is not yet
examined in any detail by other scholars.

LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A group including many former Confederate veterans founded the first
branch of the Ku Klux Klan as a social club in Pulaski, Tennessee, in
1866. The first two words of the organization's name supposedly
derived from the Greek word "kyklos," meaning circle. In the summer of
1867, local branches of the Klan met in a general organizing
convention and established what they called an "Invisible Empire of
the South."

Not true. It depends. If you are an old person and can be easily killed by a
young man with his fists, then you can argue self defence successfully. I am
77, arthritic, psoriatic, and diabetic. Sometimes I can barely walk. If I
was attacked by a 20 year old, and I blew him away with my pocket pistol, I
may very well be able to argue self defence.

No. The basis of liberalism is stupidity. Why complicate such a simple

But you are always quoting people to justify your idealogy, (like the woman

So you too are guilty of putting people above your ideaology.

I think I see your problem. The specific one here, not the general one
of your abyssal ignorance. There isn't such a thing as a "race hate
crime." There are just hate crimes. The law lists the types of
prejudice that qualify. Race is one; ethnicity is another.
>
> You hide from "race" when it's you calling an ethnic group a racial name

Me? I don't call ethnic groups names.

Me? I'm opposed to hate crime legislation.

First of all, racial slurs from KKK members (or anybody) is protected
speech. Racial slurs uttered while committing a crime against a member
of the disparaged race is evidence of a hate crime.

Secondly, I'm opposed to the government inquiring into the motivations
of prejudice in defining crimes.

You must be thinking of someone else.

Yes. If you are in your 70's and arthritic, overweight, diabetic and
psoriatic, (as am I) you may be very well justified in blowing away some
twenty year old who is obviously out to get you.

LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 2010 the US Census board listed the following demographics for the
US:

White: 63.7% - 196,817,552
Black: 12.2% - 37,685,848
Hispanic: 16.4% - 50,477,594
Asian: 4.7% - 14,465,124
Other: 3% - 9,299,420

information above retained from:
wikipedia.org/wiki/demographics_of_the_united_states

From the numbers above you can tell the percentage of the population
that is on welfare by race. See below:

Out of approx 196,817,552 whites - 39.8% are on welfare
Out of approx 37,685,848 blacks - 38.8% are on welfare
Out of approx 50,477,594 hispanics - 15.7% are on welfare
Out of approx 14,465,124 asians - 2.4% are on welfare
Out of approx 9,299,420 other - 3% are on welfare

You can't name any "Liberals" who "suggest" that people vote a certain
way because their skin is a certain color. It's a fact that 96% of
black voters and 71% of Hispanic voters voted for Obama. Presumably the
71% of Hispanics had skin that ran the spectrum from white to black.

Keep telling black- and brown-skinned people that they vote only based
on the melanin in their skin. The love to hear things like that.

In order to get a conviction in this case, the prosecution has to
disprove self defense beyond a reasonable doubt. The following is the
content of the jury instruction the defense will request. They need
only present a tiny amount of evidence of self defense to get it.

The prosecution has to do at least one of the following:

1. Show beyond a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman was committing a
'forcible felony' at the start of hostilities, e.g. trying to detain
Martin at gunpoint. They have to file a separate charge to argue
this, something they haven't done yet.

2. Show beyond a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman did not have fear of
great bodily harm if he didn't shoot Martin. This line took a big hit
last week when two "experts", the state was hoping would establish
that Martin was the one screaming on the 911 tape, flopped at a Frye
hearing. That hearing continues Monday, June 17, 4PM EDT.

3. Show both beyond a reasonable doubt:
a) Zimmerman provoked the violence from Martin.
b) Zimmerman could have withdrew from the fray without harm but
chose not to.
This line is popular with some Trayvonites who think getting out of
the car and reaching into ones pocket for a cell phone is a
provocation and that Zimmerman's admission he had pinned Martin's arm
or wrist while reaching into his holster to get the gun shows he
didn't have to shoot.
