U.S. officials said Tuesday that a North Korean ship has turned around
and is headed back toward the north where it came from, after being
tracked for more than a week by American Navy vessels on suspicion of

For starters, he called Jung's doom and destruction bluff and forced
him to recall his ship.
Second, he probably averted an arms sale which will result in N. Korea
being deprived of a fairly large sum of hard currency.
That will further stress the N. Korean economy and impair Jung's
ability to buy the loyalty of the power elite in the military.
