Yes, it is true. I do not believe the earth is heating up.

A couple of years ago, UN scientists where sending emails to each
other that got revealed to the public. In those emails were the
concerns of UN scientists who said that the earth was not warming.
They were upset because their models showed warming, but the
instruments in the field did not show warming. They didn't know what
to do because of the conflict between reality and their models.

They had told the public that the earth is warming up. We now know
that for 20 years, there have been no indications of any warming.
This goes against the desires of socialists who want more government
rules and regulations to control the lives of Americans.

Ther4 are far too many Climate Liars involved in all of this to
believe that citizens are reponsible for any warming, and there is no
warming whatsoever.

Don't believe the Climate Liars.

Actually, the year around ice in the Great Lakes melted away about
12,000 years ago and the polar ice caps have been retreating since
then. The last period of glaciation bottomed out about 20,000 years
ago then things remained rather stable for another 8,000 years. Then,
about 12,000 years ago this ongoing period of interglacial warming has
been making progress. It isn't a smooth up-ramp. Instead it is a
series of spurts and dips that may seem stable for several years then
suddenly make another quick move, either up or down.

There is no rational way all this present interglacial warming trend
could be blamed on humans. The human effect today is probably about
like a butterfly flapping its wings in Malaysia causing a storm in
Alaska.

How do we account for the fact that humans have broken up the native
turf and tilled the soil for the past few centuries. This has resulted
in a lot more soil/clay etc. being washed down the rivers into the
ocean where it eventually settles to the bottom and seals lots of
hydrocarbon stuff beneath it. This sequestered carbon residue might
actually be reducing the global warming by removing so much carbon
from the atmosphere and sequestering it on the ocean floor. Gordon

But the fact that global surface temperatures have not followed the
expected global warming pattern is now widely accepted.

Research by Ed Hawkins of University of Reading shows surface
temperatures since 2005 are already at the low end of the range
projections derived from 20 climate models and if they remain flat,
they will fall outside the models' range within a few years.

"The global temperature standstill shows that climate models are
diverging from observations," says David Whitehouse of the Global

warming has been massively overestimated. Yet those forecasts have had
a ruinous impact on the bills we pay, from heating to car fuel to huge

Nope, that's been debunked for years..

http://www.desmogblog.com/solar-forcing-and-global-warming-here-we-go-again

"[..}perhaps most important, solar irradiance has actually
been decreasing slightly over the past few years and,
according to Sigurdsson, is now moving towards a minimum.
Even disregarding that, climate scientists have long known
that variations in solar activity whether on Earth or
other planets have nothing to do with global warming."

http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn11650

"According to solar physicists, the sun emitted a third
less energy about 4 billion years ago and has been
steadily brightening ever since. Yet for most of this
time, Earth has been even warmer than today, a phenomenon
sometimes called the faint sun paradox. The reason:
higher levels of greenhouse gases trapping more of the
sun's heat."

http://scienceblogs.com/illconsidered/2006/04/its-sun-stupid/

"Its very true that the earth is warmed, for all practical
purposes, entirely by solar radiation. So if the temperature
is going up or down a reasonable place to find the cause
would be the sun. Well, it turns out that it is more
complicated than one might think to detect and measure
changes in the amount or type of sunshine reaching the earth.
Detectors on the ground are too susceptible to all kinds of
interference from the atmosphere. After all, one good cloud
passing overhead can cause an instant shiver on an otherwise
beautiful, warm day, but not because the sun itself changed.
The best way to detect changes in the actual output of the
sun versus changes in the radiation reaching the earths
surface because of clouds, smoke, dust or pollution is
by taking readings from space. "

If Conservaloons listened to experts, there'd be a whole bunch of things
they'd no longer believe, such as the 6Kyo Earth, Virgin Birth, welfare

Sadly, there's little chance of this ever happening.

It may very well be a "straw that broke the camel's back" situation.
Humans don't have to be the DOMINANT influence, but their tiny bit of
influence could tip the scale, so to speak. What I'm saying is that
human induced atmospheric pollution may have extended the present
interglacial warm period for a few hundred years. A few hundred years
out of 12,000 years isn't really very much.

The humongous amount of paved streets, parking lots and sidewalks
along with all the asphalt roofs do capture a lot more of the sun's
energy. This energy might have been absorbed into plants or it might
have been reflected back into space from snow and ice had these human
structures not existed.

Some of the residue from plant life that captures solar energy and
converts it into a form of carbon may get washed down the rivers into
the ocean where it then settles to the bottom and is covered with clay
particles that also washed from our agricultural areas down the
rivers. Some or most of this could become sequestered and taken out of
the global warming cycle. Who knows what the net balance would be???

God's time frame or ours? The 5kyo Earth seems not to fit into our
time frame and the geological evidence we have "unearthed" but we have
no such information as to God's time frame, therefore we are not yet
able to "prove" that this doesn't all fit neatly into God's time
frame. God does operate outside our time frame. Our time frame began
with the Big Bang that God initiated to create the Heavens
(multiverse) and the Earth (this space/time universe we are able to
perceive.)

A day is as a thousand years and a thousand years are as a day.

31,000 scientists disagree with the 150 scientists that wrote the IPCC
report.

Why do you believe 150 scientists that have fed you bad data?

You do realize, do you not, that bovines don't produce methane by
farting. They produce methane by belching and they belch to retrieve
some roughage from their rumen that they had chewed and swallowed a
few hours earlier. It's part of their ordinary digestion process.

And, what causes the cooler temperatures? I think it is the result of
solar pulsations that might be compared to a heart beat. That is, the
sun has a heart beat pulsation about every 112,000 years. When this
pulsation reaches its peak the sun puts out more light/heat and the
earth warms up. This usually goes on for about 12,000 years then the
sun's pulsation slowly recedes to the quiescent level for another
97,000 years or so. Gordon

http://scienceblogs.com/illconsidered/2006/04/its-sun-stupid/

http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn11650

"According to solar physicists, the sun emitted a third
less energy about 4 billion years ago and has been
steadily brightening ever since. Yet for most of this
time, Earth has been even warmer than today, a phenomenon
sometimes called the faint sun paradox. The reason:
higher levels of greenhouse gases trapping more of the
sun's heat."

http://www.desmogblog.com/solar-forcing-and-global-warming-here-we-go-again

"[..}perhaps most important, solar irradiance has actually
been decreasing slightly over the past few years and,
according to Sigurdsson, is now moving towards a minimum.
Even disregarding that, climate scientists have long known
that variations in solar activity whether on Earth or
other planets have nothing to do with global warming."

If Nature says we need to freeze our nards off, who are we to turn
the heater on? We're defying nature.

This planet *needs* to freeze. It's natural. Gaia wants it cold..

Oops! Michelle caught LYING, again...

Former Guardsman: Bush served with me in Alabama
2/13/2004
A retired Alabama Air National Guard officer said Friday that he
remembers George Bush showing up for duty in Alabama in 1972, reading
safety magazines and flight manuals in an office as he performed his
weekend obligations.
"I saw him each drill period," retired Lt. Col. John "Bill" Calhoun
said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press from Daytona
Beach, Fla., where he is preparing to watch this weekend's big NASCAR
race.
"He was very aggressive about doing his duty there. He never
complained about it. ... He was very dedicated to what he was doing in
the Guard. He showed up on time and he left at the end of the day."

Nope, it's bogus, completely bogus..

http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Oregon_Institute_of_Science_and_Medicine

"The Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine (OISM)
describes itself as "a small research institute" that
studies "biochemistry, diagnostic medicine, nutrition,
preventive medicine and the molecular biology of aging."
It is headed by Arthur B. Robinson, an eccentric scientist
who has a long history of controversial entanglements
with figures on the fringe of accepted research. OISM
also markets a home-schooling kit for "parents concerned
about socialism in the public schools" and publishes
books on how to survive nuclear war.

In 1998 the OISM circulated the Oregon Petition, a deceptive
"scientists' petition" skeptical of global warming, in
collaboration with Frederick Seitz."

http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Frederick_Seitz#Tobacco_industry_involvement_and_documents

"A 2006 article in Vanity Fair magazine called Dr. Seitz
the "$45 million man" for the amount of money he helped
R.J. Reynolds distribute for research that specifically
avoided the health issues surrounding smoking. "They didn't
want us looking at the health effects of cigarette smoking,"
Seitz admitted in the article. During the time RJR was funding
the research, it used the results of the program to claim
that the evidence was inconclusive about the health effects
of smoking. Dr. Seitz went on to become a denier of
global warming."

http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Oregon_Petition#Case_Study:_The_Oregon_Petition

"Robinson's paper claimed to show that pumping carbon dioxide
into the atmosphere is actually a good thing. "As atmospheric
CO2 increases," it stated, "plant growth rates increase.
Also, leaves lose less water as CO2 increases, so that plants
are able to grow under drier conditions. Animal life, which
depends upon plant life for food, increases proportionally."
As a result, Robinson concluded, industrial activities can
be counted on to encourage greater species biodiversity
and a greener planet"

Again, that's simply abject nonsense..

Perfect proof that man is not responsible for any perceived global
warming which has been now changed to meet the new data that indicates
the earth is cooling by calling any temperature variation "climate
change".

The nutty nuts at the EPA have labeled CO2 a toxic gas in the
atmosphere, however, the nutty nuts forgot that most vegetation lives
off of CO2, so rather than being a toxic gas to plant life, it is a
required ingredient of life. Guess where most O2 comes from...It is
not plants or trees. It is Plankton in the top few inches of sea
water that produces most of the atmospheric oxygen that we breath.

God is so smart.

They happen because of a cycle. The earth's orbit becomes more
elliptical which causes less heat from the sun to reach the earth.
Thus, the sun's heat is the only heat that reaches the earth. Space
is deadly cold without a heat source, and in our solar system, we have
only one sun to warm our atmosphere. See below for a bit of evidence:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Orbital forcing is the effect on climate of slow changes in the tilt
of the Earth's axis and shape of the orbit (see Milankovitch cycles).
These orbital changes change the total amount of sunlight reaching the
Earth by up to 25% at mid-latitudes (from 400 to 500 Wm-2 at latitudes
of 60 degrees). In this context, the term "forcing" signifies a
physical process that affects the Earth's climate.

This mechanism is believed to be responsible for the timing of the ice
age cycles. A strict application of the Milankovitch theory does not
allow the prediction of a "sudden" ice age (rapid being anything under
a century or two), since the fastest orbital period is about 20,000
years. The timing of past glacial periods coincides very well with the
predictions of the Milankovitch theory, and these effects can be
calculated into the future.

Are you accounting for the variations in instrumentation of old vs.
today?

Are you allowing for the fact that we have been taking temperature
readings for a very short period of time compared to the age of the
earth's atmosphere?

Were the "hottest years" a reflection of temps in North America vs.
other areas where the temps were much cooler?

Are you considering the religious nature of extreme environmentalism
and the effect this new religion can have on the facts?

Do you think there is a possibility of out right lies being told to
the public to further the cause of "climate change"?

http://scienceblogs.com/illconsidered/2006/04/its-sun-stupid/

No, the 'doubt' being 'cast' is from a dubious organization
of no scientific merit, as I've already pointed out for you

Your 'post' contained a cite/web-URL that isn't listed here:

Well, that's usually because I understand the underlying science

Maybe you shouldn't presume to know the subject better than
I do, especially when you attempt to 'cast doubt' as to the

Incorrect. I stated, with cites, that the variations in the
Sun's solar output has very little to do with global warming
due to man-made CO2 (roughly 30 billions tons a year) being
expelled into the troposphere, bleatus..

Nope..

Since y and v(0)*t both equal zero, here's the next step..

32f = 16f/s^2 * t^2

Dividing the 16 out of the right side..

32'/16' = 2 = t^2 thus t = square root of 2 = 1.414 seconds..

I gave you a chance to check your answer several times over..

That's correct. But, the EPA was describing CO2 as a atmospheric
toxic gas, not a room.
And, we are discussing climatology, not a room.

QUESTION: What would a room full of nothing but Oxygen be?

I too find it interesting that libs would begin to suggest that the
earth is somehow not heated totally by the sun. That takes some
amazing science.

Whats hilarious is that some of the libs on this thread do not realize
that any gas in high concentration is toxic to all life, even oxygen.
So, when the EPA labels normal atmospheric gases like CO2 a toxic gas,
you have to wonder what their political objectives are.

The EPA is an arm of the communistic left. It imposes rules and
regulations to advance the power of the state. It does not care on
whit about humanity. It cares about power to control humanity.

Mitchel is a far-left liar, but usually runs away after a few days of
being slapped around. Note that when you reply to a Proven Liar you
encourage them to continue lying.

LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In an interview with Politico, former Republican presidential
candidate John McCain (R-AZ) denied allegations that Mitt Romneys tax
returns dissuaded McCain from choosing him as his running mate in the
2008 campaign.

Sen. John McCain said on Tuesday he can "personally vouch" there was
nothing disqualifying in the 23 years' worth of tax returns that Mitt
Romney submitted to his team in 2008, when he was vetted for a vice
presidential spot.

No, we were talking about Bush, the
liar that you repeatedly lie about.

"George W Bush never committed a crime."
David Hartung, July 13 2007. In fact Bush
has been arrested for theft and vandalism
and convicted of drunk driving.

No, you are thinking of Lynne Cheney and the
sleezy sex novels that Republicans would have a
hissyfit about if a Democrat wrote them.

To a clueless blithering idiot that does not possess any logic, common
sense, analytical abilities or any form of a rational "critical
thought" process, you would believe the bullshit you posted.

"variations in solar activity whether on Earth or other planets have
nothing to do with global warming." is one of the dumbest statements
ever made about the mythical global warming bullshit.

And I'm betting this fool has no idea that water makes up 95% of all
greenhouse gasses.
