Again: Haredim Stole Millions From Government In New Yeshiva Fraud, Cops Say
Israel police raided several haredi yeshivas earlier today and arrested five
school principals in what police say is a multimillion shekel fraud scheme.

school principals in what police say is a multimillion shekel fraud scheme,
Israeli media reported today.
The haredi principals arrested allegedly falsely registered 3-year-old to
14-year-old children as students in anti-Zionist haredi yeshivas in
Jerusalem and Beitar Illit. The government pays haredi yeshivot a fixed
amount of money per registered student.
A similar fraud involving older students was uncovered two years ago. One of
the arrested men is also accused of extortion in the haredi news website
Behdrei Haredim case. Police also confiscated documents, computers and other
evidence.
More arrests are expected as the investigation progresses.
Orthodox Jews, orthodox business methods, orthodox fraud. When we say Jews
have a long history of corruption we get accused of being anti-Semitic; of
