In fact, Keith Olbermann is probably on double dose just to know it true....

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A report has cleared Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin of
ethics violations in the firing of her public safety commissioner.
Released Monday, the report says there is no probable cause to believe Palin
or any other state official violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in
connection with the firing. The report was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an
independent counsel for the Alaska Personnel Board.
Just some more nonsense from the ever lying and denying left. The Alaskan
trooper fired was a scumbag anyway. Florida had the same issue, but their
commander got rid of the scummy cop who tasered the kid at a party.
B~
Bullsh4t. She isn't "innocent." Also I was just told that Olbermann
had announced it. But apparently one does not see the subtle -facts-
and that an "exoneration" by one, does not negate the finding of the
whole:
[ ....Timothy Petumenos, an independent investigator hired by the
Alaska Personnel Board, says he will release the report during a news
conference 7:30 p.m. EST Monday.
A separate legislative panel earlier found that Palin, the Republican
vice presidential nominee, abused her office by allowing her husband
and other staffers to pressure the public safety commissioner to fire
a state trooper who went through a nasty divorce from Palin's sister.
She fired the commissioner, but denies it had anything to do with the
trooper ...."]
Okay. Steve Branchflower and Monegan vs. Petumenos. The Alaska
Personel Board has yet to concur or even ratify, and this announced
and presumed "exoneration," does not completely answer the question.
Afterall, Petumenos is not a judge, nor is he a magistrate not even a
legislator.
Let's reserve judgement when "judgement" is due in this late-in-coming
October Surprise? "Exonerated." Yah. Right.

Yes, but this is more than just a "partisan" maneuver; or is it
strategy, or even perhaps a tactic? The fact remains is Walt Monegan
is left holding the proverbial bag, and of course there is still the
possibility of civil proceeding to consider, and other matters
involving "abuse of power," and just plain corruption by Sarah Palin
which goes beyond the firing of the former State of Alaska Public
Safety Commissioner and at so many levels - This is just the
beginning, and a failure to attain victory and the Vice-Presidency may
presumably leave her wide open to subsequent inquiries and possibly
future subpeonas questioning her integrity, and finding her galloping
like a moose for cover on the Alaskan tundra from some crazed Hockey
Mom and PTA board member wrapped in an American flag, with a Dick
Cheney-like deranged gleam in her eye, and a rifle. Other than that
where is that partisan fork in order to turn this lump of meat over?
Furthermore, and in just seeing her stump in Nevada this eve it looks
as though she is having a bout an emotion with anguish presumably at
that very prospect.
GOLLY Gomer....... I should have known that you and OlberMan sigble-Handedly
threw out that inconveneint Constitutional thingy where one must be
convicted Guilty or else is presumed INNOCENT!
You lose again Buckwheat, that is until you turn this country into your
Liberal Fascist utopia and my blood runs in the streets....

Good point, those dumbshit Alaskans could learn a whole lot from you since
they approve of Gov. Palin by some 80%.....
Very possibly which goes to prove the liberals' Fascist Demagogugery works
on on liberal lemming sycophants......

You can fool All the People some of the time and some of the people all of
the time, but liberals can't fool all the people All the time.....
that was the Democratic plan all along
Are you aware that this is a lie? There is a federal investigation.
That legislative investigation (first one that found "wrongdoing") was
headed by Democrat state senators Kim Elton and Hollis French. Strange that
neither the AP story, nor the LA times story mentions that they were
Democrats.
"In a sharply worded rebuke, the new report from independent investigator
Timothy J. Petumenos accused the investigator for the state Legislative
Council of using the wrong statute to evaluate Palin's conduct,
misconstruing the available evidence and failing to obtain all the
"material" evidence needed to "properly" evaluate the case."
"There is no probable cause to believe that Gov. Palin violated the Alaska
Executive Ethics Act by making the decision to dismiss . . . Monegan,"
But Petumenos, an Anchorage trial lawyer who is a registered Democrat,
concluded that Branchflower had incorrectly interpreted what constituted a
"personal" interest and said Palin and her husband were within their rights
to express "personal frustrations" over Wooten's conduct in the context of
discussing public policy.
"To suggest that a public official cannot engage in discourse or express
disagreement regarding matters of policy would be wholly inconsistent with
their role in government," the report says.

I just read that the board cleared her in the Albuquerque Journal,
lib.
So it's one vote guilty from the Senate committee, and one not guilty
from the board.
Suck on that, lib.
Tartarus
What we knew all along was that the Personnel Board members,
all appointed by Palin, would vote to keep their jobs.
What we knew all along was that the only independent agency
(8 Republicans and 4 Democrats) to conduct an investigation
found that she violated the law.
Do you have a dictionary lying around? Good. Look up the word "bipartisan."
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/10/12/politics/main4516113.shtml
"The Republican-led state legislature began the bipartisan investigation in
July. Palin at first agreed to participate, saying that she had nothing to
hide.
"However, once she was named to the GOP ticket in late August, her
cooperation ceased. Subpoenaed witnesses refused to give testimony, and the
state's Attorney General, a Palin appointee, tried to get a judge to kill
the subpoenas, claiming they were not valid.
"The McCain campaign sought to characterize the investigation as a partisan
effort aimed at undercutting her vice presidential bid, and was behind legal
efforts to block the release of the report, or at least delay it until after
Election Day.""
I guess the LA times is guilty of assuming readers already know that
"bipartisan" means Democrats and Republicans.

What DOES seem to be missing from the media are the party affiliations of
members of the "Alaska Personnel Board," which we know was hand-picked by
Palin.
Gosh, we always seem to catch your guys doing exactly that which you're
accusing my guys.
And while I'm educating you for free, the word "Democrat" is a noun, not an
adjective. The correct form of the word in adjective form is "Democratic."
Just curious... you saw the Elks, Nv stump where her Dad did the
donkey joke?
Did you see or hear Todd? I heard her introduce "First Dude" Todd with
the accolades. He was to be there.
I never saw him. Did he show up? Talk? What was that about?
Most usenet Repubs don't read and don't get the Troopergates at all.
They think her Personnel Board is like court. Neither of the
investigations are that big of a deal. They open doors to the more
serious matters. Many Alaskans are not satisfied with what they've
learned so far. They feel duped by more corruption. This isn't over
for Alaska.
