Media Begins To Take Notice
Mother's message eventually sinks in

by Jennifer Monroe

CRAWFORD, TX -- (OfficialWire) -- 08/11/05 -- In a hard-hitting letter
(click to read) sent to Nightline producers following a 'Townhall
Meeting' broadcast in March 2005, Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a U.S.
soldier who was killed in Sadr City, Iraq, on April 4, 2004, expressed her
distress and frustration at their failure to offer a fair and balanced
show. But more than that, she provided considerable insight into the sad
fact that the so-called 'mainstream media' had become a 'propaganda tool'
for the Bush administration.

"Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was
killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel. My son
joined the Army to protect America, not Israel. Am I stupid? No, I know
full-well that my son, my family, this nation, and this world were
betrayed by George [W.] Bush who was influenced by the neo-con PNAC agenda
after 9/11. We were told that we were attacked on 9/11 because the
terrorists hate our freedoms and democracy...not for the real reason,
because the Arab-Muslims who attacked us hate our middle-eastern foreign
policy. That hasn't changed since America invaded and occupied Iraq...in
fact it has gotten worse."

Sheehan, 48, traveled to the president's Crawford ranch Saturday after
Bush said that fallen U.S. troops had died for a 'noble cause' and that
the mission must be completed.

"I want to ask the president, 'Why did you kill my son? What did my son
die for?" Sheehan told reporters. "Last week, you said my son died for a
noble cause' and I want to ask him what that noble cause is?"

With journalists camped out waiting for George W. Bush to make a move and
with little else to do, Sheehan's voice is finally being heard. Indeed, as
the number of dead U.S. soldiers increases each day and as more and more
revelations about how the U.S. Government failed to protect its citizens
on 9/11 (or worse, were responsible in some way for the events of that
day) are being made public, it seems that the nation's media are finally
taking their jobs seriously.

Sheehan said she plans to continue her vigil until she gets to talk to
Bush. "I'll follow him to D.C.," she said.

This woman's grief is saddening, but the media is exploiting one
mother while ignoring the 3600 other parents who have lost children in
this war but don't angrily denounce the president. That is a real
lack of class.

Have you read the letter Sheehan's family has released? The gist is
that they express deep embarrassment and politely ask her to shut up
and stop dishonoring their grandson.

Of course, the American left has no class and doesn't have the
slightest qualms about using a mother who has so obviously become
unstable in her grief. No, you don't change your story that much
unless you've become unstable.

that's a dumb thing to say. perhaps the other 3600 parents are not willing
to speak up and be dragged through their neighborhood's mud by morons, i'm
sorry - patriotic americans like you.

FAMILY OF FALLEN SOLDIER PLEADS: PLEASE STOP, CINDY!
Thu Aug 11 2005 12:56:21 ET

The family of American soldier Casey Sheehan, who was killed in Iraq on
April 4, 2004, has broken its silence and spoken out against his mother
Cindy Sheehan's anti-war vigil against George Bush held outside the
president's Crawford, Texas ranch.

The following email was received by the DRUDGE REPORT from Casey's aunt and
godmother:

Our family has been so distressed by the recent activities of Cindy we are
breaking our silence and we have collectively written a statement for
release. Feel free to distribute it as you wish. Thanks Ð Cherie

In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford Texas issue:
Sheehan Family Statement:

The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been
silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political
motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be
promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her
son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the
troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.

Sincerely,

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

In it, she blames the entire war on Israel.
Which just happens to be exactly what Islamic terrorists say too.

The views of you lefties and the views of Islamic terrorists are
becoming increasingly indistinguishable. You hate whom they hate. They
hate whom you hate. Their targets are America, our military, global
capitalism, Bush, Blair, Howard and Israel. And those just happen to be
your targets too.

Not the immediate family, though, his relatives.

Casey's father and siblings are very much part of the protest.

It's just not decent to pick on a woman who has a lost a son.

A mother has a special relationship with a child and maybe you can't
understand that.

It makes me sick to see what the right is doing, just sick.

No one feels the loss of a child like a Mom, like a Dad.

Period.

Excellent article... Thank you for posting it.. PNAC operatives like
Cheney and Richard Perle are also associated with JINSA (Jewish

Will the Valerie Plame leak out this nefarious JINSA/CSP/PNAC Neocon

The reason he thinks it's legitimate is that it was on the internet.
That makes it true you know. Everything on the internet is true.

This is why the White House has such an easy time with righttards.
Their ministry of information at Fox News is a prime example on how to
bamboozle a bunch of dittoheads.

What's funny is that the White House even said they were going to
present disinformation. And the dittoheads nod sagely and say "I'm
ready to be fooled."

It's too bad they can't think. That's why we ended up with bush. And
why they believe anything that meets their agenda on the internet.

Why do you assume that's all she is? If someone agrees with the
President's policy, then you assume he is intelligent and clear
thinking; but if he disagrees, then he is just a "parrot" for someone?
How do you figure that?

Perhaps you'd like to try to answer the question, then: for what noble
cause did her son die? Her are some helpful hints: Don't answer
anything about WMD, because we know that was a lie. Don't say anything
about spreading freedom and democracy, because we know that wasn't
really the reason. With those cautions in mind, go ahead and try to
answer.

Inauthentic. I suspect they were much more likely put
up to this than Cindy may have been put up to what
she's doing. She comes across as authentic to me; this
letter, while perhaps "authentic" in the sense that
some relatives sent it, reeks of inauthenticity in
terms of what's motivating them.

Steven,

I looked for posts by Cindy Sheehan that contain the
expression you attribute to her, "murdering for 200
years", and I can't find any. In fact, I can't find
any by her at all. However, I did find a couple of
instances of *you* writing "murdering for 200 years",
seemingly attributing this to her. I also found where
you provided a tinyurl link to the reply of someone
named "Terry" to what appears to be an *e-mail* from
Cindy Sheehan, rather than a post to usenet.

If you have some valid evidence pointing to posts Ms.
Sheehan has made to usenet, through Google Groups or
any other medium, please furnish it.

It's crude ghetto slang for the way a pimp slaps a ho, typically

I sit corrected.

It seems that "bitch-slap" and "pimp-slap" are similar, but different.

Clean Break'/war for Israel agenda conveyed by esteemed US intelligence
author James Bamford on pages 261-269/321 of his 'A Pretext for War'
book (the recently released paperback version includes an additional
chapter on the AIPAC/Israel espionage via the Pentagon which Mr. Gibson
is not addressing either as he serves the interests of Israel before
America just like you do). You might want to read the following 'Whose
War?' article by Pat Buchanan as well:

Interesting for you and Mr. Gibson to mention that the quagmire in Iraq
is for America's security when it is all about Israel. The following
URL addresses the root cause/motivation for the tragic 9/11 attack as
US support for Israel was the motivation for the tragic attack on the
World Trade Center in 1993 as well (James Bamford conveys such on pages
97-102 of 'A Pretext for War'):

You might want to also read the letter that Cindy Sheehan sent to the
executive producer of ABC's 'Nightline' broadcast via the following

to
notice below how when a republi con is trapped in his own lies he finds a
new issue in which to attempt to prove his previous lie valid. this is a
typical republi con modus operation method

Cindy Sheehan was/is absolutely right about the PNAC Neoconservative
cabal which took us to war in Iraq for Israel Cheney's office:

Will the leak of Valerie Plame finally cease and desist this same PNAC
cabal which is planning the coming attack on Iran (which will be for
Israel as well):
