NewGround is a joint project of PJA and the Muslim Public Affairs
Council (MPAC) that engages diverse groups of Muslim and Jewish
Angelenos in an innovative community-building process of intra- and
inter-faith education and reflection, leadership training, and civic
engagement. The program utilizes a creative and dynamic new approach
to Muslim-Jewish community-building, and is the result of extensive
research of previous Muslim-Jewish dialogue efforts conducted in Los
Angeles and throughout the country. Our first cohort of NewGround
participants began in late February, and is comprised of Muslim and
Jewish Young Professionals in their 20s and 30s. Check out
