If you want to see an example of a real case of ethnic cleansing check out
the situation of Christians in the Gaza now the Jews have driven out.

O Dwindling Town Of Bethlehem

UPDATED at bottom of post.

The population of Bethlehem used to be over 90% Christian. Now, it 35%
Christian and 65% Muslim.

Why?

The media often tries to blame Israel. Here's a quote from the New
York Times, for instance:

In the town where Christians believe Christ was born, the Christians
are leaving. Four years of violence, an economic free fall and the
Israeli separation barrier have all contributed to the hardships
facing Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem, one of the largest
concentrations of Christians in the region.

But if it is Israel's fault, why is it that the Muslim population
continues to surge? Why is it that Christians leave, while Muslims
stay and procreate?

Well, WND asked a Christian leader from Bethlehem. Here's what he had
to say:

"All this talk about Israel driving Christians out and causing pain is
nonsense," a Bethlehem Christian community leader told WND. "You want
to know what is at play here, just come throughout the year and see
the intimidation from the Muslims. They have burned down our stores,
built mosques in front of our churches, stole our real estate and took
away our rights. Women have been raped and abducted. So don't tell me
about Israel. It's the Muslims."

What do you know? Someguy posted about Bethlehem today too. He
recounts the story of how Hamas, who is in charge of Bethlehem, plans
to institute the Jizya tax, effectively declaring all non-Muslims
second-class citizens.

Then, Someguy makes a brilliant observation:

Here's a question for my readers: Does it strike you as strange that
the same people who say that the joint Iraqi-Coalition effort to
create a democracy will simply fail at best (if it doesn't result in
something worse than Saddam's regime), are the exact same ones who say
that a group of people who will not even make the effort to stop the
terrorists among them from firing on a kindergarten can live in peace
with Israel?

Wow, a devastating question, counselor. Or, should I say, Consigliore?

;-)

The stalling game the Arabs have been playing is over.
The quicker they make peace the less they lose.

Netanyahu is making them pay for delay

Would this be anything like the ethnic cleansing muslimes practice
against people of other faiths?

How many Jews still live in:

Saudi Barbaria,
Gaza Shite,
Egypt

How many synagogues are located in any
of the above countries?

You don't bother to link to the source. Checkable truth has virtue - unless
you are lying. The NY Times is owned by Jews. Does it tell the truth?

There are no Jewish facts, nor are there any Muslim facts, no are there any
Christian facts.

There are only facts.

If you have anything that can challenge the facts present them.

Otherwise we know that you are full of shit

All 15 million of them own the NY Times? That's quite a few
shareholders.

Why not 7,000?

Or 70,000?

Netanyahu is a puss.

He should wipe the Palestinians off the map.

The flight of Christians from the Muslim Middle East has been going on
for years. It's odd that mainstream Western media never carry reports
of Muslims bashing Christians during Easter and Christmas. And recall
the fuss over Manger Square in Bethlehem, when Muslims demanded to set
up a mosque because it was the site of some (very recently discovered)
Muslim holy dude?

The NY Times is owned by the NY Times Company. Here's the corporate
officers and the board of directors:

It's answerable to its shareholders. Does that tell you something?

Is there such a thing as a Muslim Holy dude especially if you equate
Holy with Clean? The first time I remember being in Jerusalem was in
either the late winter or early spring of 1978. I entered with a pack
on my back through Jaffa Gate. And preceded up St Mark’s road looking
for the Jewish Hostel.

What surprised me is how friendly the people (Christians, Jews and
Muslims) were asking me if I wanted to stay with this or that family.
Even though they all probably new there were plenty of American
greenbacks in my trousers they still seemed genuine in observing the
International Laws of Hospitality that Semitic peoples are so well
known for. I didn’t see any flies or poverty in the Christian, Jewish
or Armenian Quarters but when I found myself in the Muslim Arab
quarter it didn’t exactly seem Holy (as in Clean to me). What puzzles
me is when I compare Muslims to Christians. Muslims don’t eat pork
but in their living habits, they often appear dirtier than Christians
do and most Christians will eat anything. I suppose it is the same
for all peoples and religions it just depends on the class of society
your in.

A lot of the anti-semitic/anti-Judaic vomit I read in this newsgroup
remind
me of the verbal diarrhea the Muslime Student Association spouts at
UCI, publicly. Of course, they've euphemized their anti-semitism as
anti-zionism.

Like I've said here before we NEVER had problems w/anti-semitic
assholes
at UCI until the muzzies showed up. Ditto for USC.

Certainly. I just don't buy the suddenly-discovered Muslim holy dude
in Bethlehem -- discovered just in time to take advantage of the
millennium celebrations.

Yousuf Ya'acub -- formerly of Kfar Birem -- mentions the squalor of
the Muslim village he and his fellow villagers were quartered in,
after they were driven from their home village in 1947. "Such that
donkeys would be ashamed to live in it" is how he put it. They never
seemed to have lost hope that they would be allowed to go home,
despite decades of legal wrangling.

Sometimes it seems like the only ones who see it are members
of my ACT for America chapter and some of my more well-informed
Jewish friends up in LA.

A Jewish girl who opposed their anti-semitic vomit was followed
to her car by three scuzzy-muzzy bastards, who then proceeded
to block her car in by standing in such a way that she couldn't
back up or go forward, then wrote down her license plate number
and VIN.

Galloway might be in for some legal trouble as the result of his
last demonstration at UCI though.
